Not sure exactly what kind of moss (moss? ) this is but I like the way it looks growing in a pot and it's all over the empty pots in my greenhouse LOL

Hay guys if you all think that the pictures in this thread are great You all need to see the picture of the bug in the thread titled GREAT STONKIN,HUGE BEAST you won't be disappointed for sure the bug is at least 6-8 inches long looks big enough to be able to saddle it up and ride it around. lol

It's really hard to capture those guys so close, they are there one moment and the next one you see them flying five meters away. Well, this one fell into the pool and was stunned. I saved it and put it on the rock and took the pictures. It had to lie in the sun for a few minutes to rise its body temperature back to normal.




This guy is pretty funny, I found it in the field and brought it home, then it wanted to descend the steps, but it fell on its back and it couldn't get back straight.

This little lady is our first line of biological defence. Legspan around 3cm, it's venom is about as painful as bee sting if it can get through your skin.

Anyone stateside can tell ya this was an uber bad summer for grasshoppers. This guy didnt even budge when the lens bumped up to him. I think he saw I was only armed with a camera and figured he could take me out if provoked.
