I use to run my pH higher, up to 6.2 with no issues at all...
When Coco is wet, as with most mediums concentrations are usually lower and pH is usually a bit higher, as the medium dries out concentrations increase and pH goes down. So if you allow your medium to dry out some before watering you actually get a fluctuation of different pH ranges ime.
I find that Coco is very forgiving an able to grow healthy plants at various pH ranges and nutrient concentrations.
Never gone below pH 5.7 but people do and seem to grow just fine... remember, anywhere between 5.2 and 6.2 should be ok, however, keep in mind that your feed water is not always the same pH as your medium
