Damn Lump, 5.7?
Shit, what coco you use? I'm in black gold, I run it at 5.5-5.6 TOPS...
I ph to 5.8 for my pro mix. I guess it depends on the ph swing or what notes you use or what?

You guys ever push your coco ph higher? ended up settling around 6.0 over here. Everything looks awesome and problem free but was curious.

I use to run my pH higher, up to 6.2 with no issues at all...

When Coco is wet, as with most mediums concentrations are usually lower and pH is usually a bit higher, as the medium dries out concentrations increase and pH goes down. So if you allow your medium to dry out some before watering you actually get a fluctuation of different pH ranges ime.

I find that Coco is very forgiving an able to grow healthy plants at various pH ranges and nutrient concentrations.

Never gone below pH 5.7 but people do and seem to grow just fine... remember, anywhere between 5.2 and 6.2 should be ok, however, keep in mind that your feed water is not always the same pH as your medium

Great advice Lump, a lotta folks dont understand that about wet/dry cycles and medium ph vs. nutrient ph. Tried all sorts of shit but love how beds prevent that dry ph rise or nutrient concentration. Once switched to bio bizz for base it was done deal, i was sold on ditching the salts.
