lumatek ballast ,are they worth for money ?

I have two, the 600 silver and a 600 purple.

The first 600 purple arrived DOA. Hydrofarm replaced it ASAP.

The silver one I've had since college (~2-3 years old?) fires up like a champ.
The purple one works just as well.

No interference (RF) with my CO2 meter with either one.

the lumatek ballast fried my cap co2 controller switched to a sentinel and had no probs
