I got some laos beans a while back thinking about popping them.
but 16 to 20 weeks for an 1/8 off of a 20 footer! gotta love those landrace sativas.
nice to see people growing these old genetics. good thread!

I know you're exaggerating about the yield, but even so you'll get plenty more than an 1/8th. The GN Thai Stick Im flowering and have already harvested far out-yield anything else in my garden, and they're only about 5 ft tall thanks to lots of training. Easily 4-6 oz of ooey gooey sticky buds per plants.

Those Laos beans I bet could easily produce the same type of results, maybe better. Ill just take them off your hands if your not up for it:biggrin: .

Thanks Gypsy! She was a pleasure to grow!

I posted most of these in the Rust2 thread a while back but thought I should post a few pics here as well.

Wow, those look great, columbo! I love seeing big outdoor plants. Is that in a 5 gallon bucket? It looks like it yielded relatively well.

I'll post pics here when I get mine started.

what smell did you get on this one ?

Unfortunately there was not a whole lot of aroma of the finished product. I was using synthetic nutes and it was my first time growing something so long flowering. I'm sure I could do better next time.

Subtle soil, earthy, vegatative matter and herbal tea smells are what comes to mind after a decent cure. The dry seive was naturally more fragrant but hard to pin-point with a little sweetness in there but a pleasant enchanting smell overall.

It did have some interesting smells during flower most notably an unpleasant burnt rubber smell (which my chef friend suggested was passionfruit) also a soapy incensey smell which I didn't mind.

To put things in perspective the plant was a 5x5x5ft bush in a 50L (~12-13 gallons?) pot. She yielded quite well. Around 500g (~1lbs) I'd say :)

Nice work @Munson!

I was lucky enough to get the last of the remaining Columbo1 line of Laos Luang Prabang seeds before he went ghost.

Was nice smoke. Might have to see if I can find any pics. Will have to grow them out soon. Thanks Col. ;)

Oh one more thing ...

PLEASE BE AWARE ALL SEED BOUTIQUE STOCK HAS NOW BEEN REPLENISHED WITH FRESH STOCK DIRECT FROM THE BREEDERS ALL OLD SEED BOUTIQUE STOCK WILL BE GIVEN OUT AS FREEBIES DUE TO THE UNPREDICTABLE VIABILTY FOR THOSE IN LEGAL STATES/COUNTIES AN NOT SOLD, GYPSY NIRVANA.

Panikz,
Can you explain the above statement that appears above the seed boutique listings.
I purchased Luang Prabang, Khmer gold and thunk with the knowledge that germination rates were low. 40% on thunk and about 15% onother two. This was fine because I knew what I was buying from scouring the forums before purchase. I did get just what I expected on germ rates.
Is the statement hugely misleading as I perceive or have you actually replaced all seeds with fresh stock?
