friend was busted with lsd, got a felony 2 same as manslaughter hes doing a while bless his soul, and i wanna send a big fuck you to our corrupt goverment'sWell I don't know about Florida's laws all that well, I really don't see how they could charge you with Manslaughter if no death was involved. The time served may be the same length as a manslaughter charge, because Florida is pretty heavy on busting those "violent and deranged hippies".
I find it absurd, I'm more worried about the tweaker with a hit of meth than I am the hippie with a hit of acid. This country is ass backwards, I'm telling ya.

A buddy of mine got a possession for sales of a controlled substance, to wit. LSD. he did 4 months in jail. its not manslaughter in CA, that i know.

Old urban legend. Even the guys making millions of doses in that bunker didn't get any manslaughter/attempted manslaughter charges.
Heard the same story about ecstasy when I lived in NYC back in the late 90s! While you might not get a manslaughter charge, the level of felony and the time you get might well be commensurate with a manslaughter conviction. i.e., I think selling ecstasy and manslaughter are both B felonies in the state of NY

Just to add my 2 cents...I had a freind busted around 2000 and all he got for possesion of a 10 strip of acid was probation. It was blotter paper acid and was uncut. He only sqeaked by the intent to sell charge b/c the strip was uncut technically making it a single hit. At the time he lived in Texas and they are completely unreasonable about controlled substances in the bible belt. So, I doubt the manslaughter rumor.
I personally hate the stuff. I have had a few bad trips and that was enough to turn me off. The only recreational substance that won't do you wrong, is the green beauty we are all here for.

If you all remember when John Belushi died, the woman that supplied him with the heroin/cocaine was charged and convicted of manslaughter. It falls in what is called the felony murder doctrine. If a person dies during the commission of a felony crime, then that person can be charged with murder. Another example of this would be if you were to burglarize a house, and the owner was home and the fear caused him to have a heart attack and he died, you would be charged with murder.....

Secondly, there is a reason that really really good clean doses are rare and hard to find.......because it is NOT easy to make, and the chemical precursors are some of the most strictly controlled substances in the world.
Making doses from precursors is the easy way.....making it from raw ergot is a super hassle, and requires some serious chemistry knowledge and lab experience.
