Ok guys. My LR grow is done and drying. Here are the pics. I've no weight on them yet, but it looks to be a pretty substantial yield from just 2 plants.
However, it's not anywhere near as good as it looks and here's where I need your help.
First, the buds while appearing pretty large, are getting quite "airy" as they dry. They are not looking nearly so tight and hard as when I cut them (yea, I realize drying has a big impact but this is almost night and day). What caused this?
2nd, both plants were germ'd together and grown side by side in the same aero unit, yet one plant look way more "done" than the other (look back at my pics). One plant clearly has more crystal than the other. Any idea why?
Lastly, the buzz just isn't that great. I hate to say it and I spent my fair share of posts defending LR, but compared to what I usually get ahold of, I would say it's a 5 on scale of 1 to 10.
My biggest concern is the lack of crystals and the airy buds.
These were grown on 20/4 for the first 3 weeks and then 18/6 under a 400w HPS.
Room temps were around 78F max. Canopy temps were higher, but never showed any sign of burning/heat stress.
I used AN Sensi 2 Part 2+ Flowering Light Feeding schedule with ALL the additives.
They've been drying for 3 days. The stems are still not "cracking", but the leaves on the buds are VERY dry, almost crispy. This stuff is not turning out like what I am used to buying. The stuff I can buy is almost "moist" and very sticky, but never gets moldy if kept in a jar.
Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. This was my first ever grow and while it went well and things appeared to turn out great, I'm not terribly pleased with the end result and would like to correct any problems before I continue. Thanks!

hey can these be cloned,do they get big enough to take cuttings,i ask just because the seeds are kinda pricey.i think i seen ruderalis skunk somewere on the seed botique website ,anyone with experience with that? i cant see myself paying 50 bucks evey time i want some LR when there are supposedley better seeds/plants can be had for 15 bucks.lata

No...LR cannot be cloned because it is auto-flowering. It goes directly from the seedling stage to Flowering. It does not have a vegetative stage.

hello guys i have yet to try lowryder but want to as soon as i can save up the money for seeds i just bought my out door seed for this year and wish i would have hade enough for my lows lol
i have a couple questions for all you low experts
ok i have been looking at the boutique quite q bit lately because i really want to try these guys for indoor i dont have much space till i get another cab built neways there is 3 kinds what is the most potent and highest yielder of the low family also does it stink alot?
and is it pretty potent

I'm growing LR right now under 250W MH, it is SUPER compact cause i'm also using an MH. You can't get a more compact strain unless you do SoG and flower clones right away.
ok ..... now I want to klnow which of the hree Gypsy stocks is the most potent...?

im pretty new to growing and my first grow isnt going incredibly well, but today i ordered some lowryder seeds as i thought it would be slightly easier etc etc.
im going away soon and figured out i have enough time to grow out these seeds before i leave as they claim an 8-week harvest.
can you guys give me any tips on LR, as i expect your all experienced LR growers.
eg..
whats the germ rate like? how potent is it? does it kick up much of a stink while its growing/flowering? what's is the best lighting cycle to use? average yield? nute intake, preferred soil recipe? etc etc.. and anythings you growers do/use personally when growin LR.

Have three above soil line just waitin on the last two. Got five out of five germed and they've got a seriously lime green color to em. These have me excited as I grew out the original BBxLR and the ML, the combo of them both has gotta be great.
