Lower leaves turning Yellow and dieing

Heres the story, got 3 blue berry cuts from my friend planted them in foxfarm soil 12/2/06. I used fox farm big grow big nuts and they started to grow quick. 12/22/06 i switched the light cycle over to 12/12. when they 1st started showing signs of flowering i watered with fox farm big bloom and had no problems. Up untill about 2 weeks ago the "lower leaves" started to turn yellow. As they slowly crept upward on the top I thought it was due to the lack of N. So 2 days ago i watered with big grow again hoping the high levels of N would help, only to see no affect. what could i do to fix was looking at Rusto's and thinking i might need some gypsum and epsom. seemed to do the trick for him. what you guys think is going on?

That plants are rootbound...you need to transplant them into something bigger ASAP - that's what's causing your mag/n def. You should be using Tiger Bloom in flowering as well...it provides all the micro's and enough N to get em through flowering.

When I do FF nutes, I run the Big Bloom and Tiger bloom. Don't be scared to give em a near full dose of the Big Bloom - it's 100% organic and tough to burn em with. The Tiger Bloom on the other hand needs to be used in moderation unless you really get the plants cranking...it's also very acidic, so make sure to check your PH after mixing it in. I usually taper off on the TB in the last couple of weeks...it really seems to help the plant consume it's stored nutes without slowing plant growth during the critical latter stages of bud formation.

If you're not using it already, snag some Liquid Karma when you get the Tiger Bloom...it works great with the FF nutes and aids in nutrient uptake.

Great advice and good call mtf-sandman

Stussy22,
From the looks of that new planter, you didnt go much bigger than that square one.

I suggest at least a 3 gallon container to take it all the way through flowering.

wud up 10k. they were in a 2.6L pot and where transplanted into a 2gallon which converts overs to 7.4L so its actually 2.5x bigger. And this is about as big as I can go cause my box wont fit anything BIGGER!

Beautiful buds bro...especially for a first time grower! Don't sweat the yield...it'll get better after you get more familiar with the plants traits.

I didn't see any amber trichs, so you may have another week or two left on em...they'll fatten up alot towards the very end of flowering.
