I woulda waited until you knew which ones were females - you may have just chucked a couple of girls for males that you won't be able to use.

Yeah he's got a point, i wouldnt do that again in the future. Also fill up your pots with soil more, at least till its a 1/2 in from the rim. You can put your plants on a 18/6 light schedule and they will sometimes show sex and you can cull males that way without killing potential fem's.

yeah, we knew that, but in that small space there just wasn't room for all of them to be put into bigger pots and they were getting too big for the cups. it totally sucked and we felt bad the whole time, but it had to be done. it was very sad, but we just don't have unlimited extra-dimensional space in the closet. anyhoo, if any of them turn out to be male, we're considering just releasing them into the wild.

Just barely saw this thread pop up and I had a huge smile on my face after seeing your progress from those wee seedlings in the beginning. Looks like they are coming well along! I see those fat ass fan leaves and I really want to order some good indica again.

Those plants are looking sweet for a first grow, nice job! :canabis:

If you truly don't want to limit their potential, I would start thinking about getting more light than just those two floro bulbs. 50 Watts per square foot is a good goal.

Keep up the good work

What light type of light's
What type's of Fans? IF any Important
Those cups drill holes in the sides to air em up... Try to get them into 4" pots SEE YOU CHANGED
What type of soil Ect ect ect..... Conditions my man good luck..

If you wana see major changes go pick up a T5 and you will see major changes.....

Those are ready to get FIMMED!!!! Good Luck GL1

Yeah i would FIM them to increase yield. Also you def need to get a lflowering light, what ya gona get?

we have 2 135 watt CFLs. also, a small fan and we just got an air purifier. we used miracle grow organic soil for vegetables and flowers. we're using Worm Poop organic fertilizer right now and we have some other organic stuff for flowering. we've decided against FIMming them, because we have more vertical space than horizontal space, and if more than one is female we won't have enough room for them to grow bushy. i know that everyone thinks we should, but we're not. maybe next time, or whenever we have the room for that. and i would post more pics, but it's not working for some reason.

What spectrum CFL's? how many K's? You wont get much yield with those lights honestly, you have worked on these plants so dont waste your effort with a couple cfl's. Add at least a 150w HPS.

Are you sure those bulbs aren't closer to 30 watts with a 135 watt equivalent? A lot of CFL bulbs show their watt equivalent as the large watt # on their package, when the bulb is actually a lot less. I only ask because those bulbs look really small for 135 watt CFLs, they look about the right size for 135 to be the equivalent judging from the CFL bulbs I've dealt with.

I don't blame you for not wanting to FIM. I've had some great grows with just a couple females letting them grow free, and if you have some height then grow them how you want. You'll learn the type of growing style you prefer soon enough.

we can't get an HPS. it's too hot and we don't have the room or equipment necessary to cool that off. the book says we can grow all the way through flowering with CFLs, so we're gonna do that. but we'll probably pick up one or two more lights when we start flowering. also, i put a piece of white posterboard under them, so the floor is more reflective now. and we started an 18/6 light cycle. no we don't have a timer for them, but i do have an alarm clock on my phone, and i am physically capable enough to flip the switch twice a day. i'm also still trying to post more pics, and it's still not working.

They look good. 18/6 should sex em for ya. For flowering with cfl's you need: 2,700-3000 kelvins / Warm White, you want the red spectrum cfl's, that are more orange then blue.

Those pots look less than 1 gallon to. Those should be transplanted to at least 1 gallon pots for flowering.
