go to Dam Square & take a horse drawn carriage ride with the beautiful blond; go thru Old Town; get some of the delicious syrup waffles!!! If you've not had 'em, you've got to try em.

So where can i find those "ladyboys"?

coming up the east side of oud zijdes achterburgwal, turn right at bloedstraat and you are in ladyboy lane. a funny story from a previous trip: i was walking up the oza and this big burly scotsman come running out of a kamer but naked with all his stuff bundled in his chest, screaming the bird wasnt a bird, she had the twig and berries. a ook a few doors in and there is a ladyboy standing in the doorway shaking his head, i almost wet myself laughing.

peace -fb

Dont go to the torture museum..it sucked :(

I loved the torture museum, Especially the rollercoaster at the end.

I also loved the Heineken museum. Lots of fun there and delicious fresh beer.

The Artis zoo was great. Had a really good few hours there last fall.
Its a short bus ride from the city centre.
The Allard Pierson museum was really cool.
There is also the Stedelijk Museum with all its Picasso, Matisse, Cezane and Monet paintings.
I also enjoyed the National Maritime Museum. If you are into boats of all types,
along with displays of treasure and such, this museum is awesome.

The zoo sucks bad. If you are american it will not impress you. I love going to the Hortis Bontanicus Garden green house . (spelling?) Its great! They have 5 pot plants scattered through out the place unlabeled. Its like hide and seek to find the five plants! so fun! I also found a plant growing out of the crack in the sidewalk! I guess someone dropped a seed there!
