by what you already have you probably know what yer doing but here goes
i would make two rooms with a room or hallway in the middle to vent evrything out the celing with whirly birds on the roof then all yer noise would be in the middle of the room and the smell woulld go out the top
watch the guy nextdoor... run when the neighbor is alseep and work he wount be walking around much early talking on the phone before work so you have that time
run in the winter to cool the room
use dryer vent covers if you vent on the side

id start by putting insulation in there n laying some drywall.. id make a large 16k room with a 5ton unit n just grow tree's in it.. dirty style lol

i know u said u only got 8k worth of ballast but u n i both know u can grab just a few more lol

that would be the start hahah drywall n insulation..... the only thing that talks me out of 16k is thats 80 of my 100 amp's and i have not turned on the a/c or fan's.... 5 ton unit is way to big for this lil room i can get 8 more ballast thats not a prob but if i do... i think i will put them in the 30 x 25 garage thats right next to this shop and run dual 8k flip flops

forgot about your 100amp service i saw something about 200amps

5ton for the size room if going by size is way to big but if its 16k non air cooled its just right.. atleast in this part of town lol
