Looking for Deep chunk

I'm planning my next projects. I've already got what I need for a couple of my plans, but I'm trying to find some Chunk to round out my Indica needs. I've always been a sucker for big, fat Indica leaves, but I never grabbed any Chunk when I had the chance. Now I'm regretting that.

Somebody point me in the right direction.

Hey WelderDan, put the Word Monkey Balls in the search field here on ICMAG. The first entry is what you're looking for! :)

A IBL will still be an IBL if you pollinate them with her self! :)

Yes but it's important to distinguish the filial generations (F1,F2,etc) because it tells us how much work went into the line. Lots of variation in F2. F3 and beyond is where you start to lock down traits. Big difference if you are looking to breed with any given seed lot. Personally, I don't consider any cross an IBL until at least F4 or F5. WelderDan I'd get in touch with Chimera via PM if I were you.

Tom Hill (Regular)
Haze 10 N/A $100
X18 10 N/A $75

No mention of Deep Chunk in Tom's current release, I'd go with Hazeman's cross.

Morphote-Isn't the variation you speak of in F2-F3 only found following true F1? I thought I read at some point that Tom took deep chunk to like F16!please correct me if I'm wrong. Is this not to be considered a IBL? I believe something is needed to differentiate someone's reproduction from the breeders release but wonder if F2-F3 and so on is correct. Better than nothing.... yes, but correct? IMHO if nothing else exists something like repro1-repro2 would seem less confusing.

Yes. Really? F16? Frankly that sounds ridiculous. Based on what DJ Short said around F7 or F8 you lose all vigor and plants suffer from inbred depression. Desired traits should be locked in by F4/F5. But yes I agree it's confusing and wrong to cross two F16s and call it a F2. "Repro" or "Redux" might work, but the real problem is that in general we mislabel and rename everything to the point where we would only confuse ourselves if we went back and tried to give everything the proper nomenclature.

I believe that's what I read. It's been a long time. It wasn't a post from Tom but it was definatley one of his lines they were speaking of. I believe it was deepchunk. Even if I'm completely mistaken and it's much less than F16 surely it's inbred enough to call an IBL. No?

Your prob right about causing more confusion trying to correct shit. Especially since it'll prob be accepted just like wld/nld indica/Sativa or stain/variety clone/cultivar was. They tried! lol

Aren't Tom Hill's Deep Chunk and X18 done with open pollination, rather than focused on in breeding certain pheno?

So can X18 and Deep Chunk called IBL in a same way Sam's Skunk#1?
