I've never had a cannabis that tasted like coffee but I do hear murmurs on a couple seed sites of certain phenos of certain varietals have some light coffee flavour. Are there any that have a unique and robust coffee scent/taste?

The smell of "coffee" can mean a lot of things. If you have ever gotten to smell unroasted beans from different regions they can have smells as diverse as cannabis. The DJ Short Grape Krush cut i used to run had a coffee like aroma that mixed with the grape. It reminded me of the smell of unroasted coffee beans from Kenya.

Ur gonna get bubba kush as an answer. Its definitely in there mixed with something else I don't know how to describe. Cocoa kush seem to have it as a background aroma.

I know it's not cannabis but, if you like coffee tastes there is a type of beer called stouts, basically black beer. Some are chocolate/coffe stouts, and they have quite a delightful taste. Go well with dessert, like a piece of chocolate cake.

Not everyone likes them, I know I do.

I had a Sour Bubble pheno that smelled and tasted just like a mocha coffee or latte to me .I told no one my opinion and asked people what they thought about the smell and taste. Most of them said it was like some sort of fancy coffee. Others just said it was very good.

Wow such great responses thank you all.

Sadly I've only ever had one coffee beer I enjoyed, and it was an amber ale with blonde roasted espresso beans. I also am not a big fan of stouts. I always expect the flavour to match the rich texture and then am sadly disappointing by the lingering bitterness. I think I ask too much of my drinks haha

Anyways keep em coming, I'm pretty sure I hear about some really high level sativas with a certain coffee ness to them but you think I could ever find those again? This forum has more sativa growers than any other forum. It's amazing really.

I feel like coffee strains have an entourage effect that is a more comfortable and deeper stone.

I have pre98 bubba, I dont really get a coffee smell well not fresh ground coffee at least.

Perhaps some coffee like elements but to me it kind of smells like old antique wood furniture.

As far as coffee tasting beer goes, nothing beats a fresh pulled pint of Guinness draught, oh man I wish I had one right now.

Coffee beer:

Have u ever had a beer pulled thru a infusion device. Its basically a filter that u load with coffee, or hops, fruits, vanilla beans, etc...

The flavors can be fantastic. But u do have the effect of stronger flavors with the first few beers, then it tapers off and u have more balance, then ultimately u pull enough beer thru it and u have to change out the coffee to get the flavor back.

Its an awesome way to infuse extra fresh flavors into beers! Ive been thinking about loading it with some nugs or sugar leaves to see how it tastes. I don't think it will impart a thc high though because the thc would have to be activated by heat. Just adds flavor basically.
