arrite guys heres an update. the babies were transplanted yestday into bigger plastic pots wit some good ol foxfarm oceanforest soil. the plant look like there liking there bigger pot. however here are some problems as of now. the bottom leaves are turning yellow, and the tips on some of the higher leaves are starting to discolor a lil, and on one of the plants the top leaveas are spotting brown kinda what could that be from ? 2 of the leaves are a lil cut up because i dropped something on it once so i can understand those leaves being messed up. well here are some pics, and i have a total of 84 watts in a pc server case insulated with mylar 2 pc fans at top of exhaust, and 1 in the middle for intake the babies are 3 weeks from bean now i belive. the heat inside the cab is usally around 84degress. here are some pics

but before i install the HPS im deff gona need to get these temps down. I mite install another fan for exhaust, however i dont think the heats comin from the cab, its comin from the cloest its in. mabey i should just get a big fan to circulate air around the closet, there is an attic opening rite above, so heat comes from there prob, also in the pics u guys cant see it but its geting me cery worried. the nice leaves on top, and the new growth and getting these brown spots all over, its bad if the new growth is getting like that to rite ? any sugestions ?

its funny how this works. well in the begining i had 2 babies one was always more healthier than the other, now the unhealthier one is more healthy than the originally healthy one. kinda sucks

thats true, when discoloration like that occurs, can they ever become normal agian, as long as u dont have full blow yellow ? or once discoloration happens its there, but can the leave still be alive and healthy. it deff looks like the leaves on the bottom of one of my babies are on there last life.

update, the babies are looking amazing if i counted right one has 5 levels of nodes and the other has 6. pics coming soon. im a little worried tho, this is the 4th week of veg, and compared to other peopes ww in 4 weeks of veg they look tiny. i am keeping the cfls an inch above the plant. is this ok ? or should it be further. im also starting to get a lil scent from the ladies, is this her scent ? or just the plant scent ? check back tomorrow for pics

It could be male or female, they both stink! ... my 2 most smelly ones i had this go around both turned out to be male! makes me wonder how good of a male they would have been...im talkin STANK in veg. So you never kno really man...u should start to see preflowers soon though im guessing! -Opt

I dont have no pictures guido..but it's very simple. A female will have what it looks to be a tear shape pod.... with 2 hairs coming out of it. Male will have what it looks like a Claw if u look at it with a mag glass...or some people consider it also to look like a ball on a stick. -Opt

ok well heres an update, i transplanted one of the plants in to a nice size bucket. its clear, i heard that clear pots cause some sort of problems ? or is that only in 12 12 ? also by accident i left the cfl a little to close to one of the babies and it kinda turned one of here new top leaves yellow, is that ok ? when these leaves get damaged, does that effect the plant ? or just the look of those leaves ? also i see 2 little spike like hairs sticking out on each side of this one node towards the top, what are those ?new pics coming soon

it is really a good idea to have the root zones in the dark.

you may have burnt up some of the leaves, but it's usually ok. make sure they are not in extreme heat like that again.

the hairs are the calyxes comin out of the plant. the plant is showing it's sexual organs to ya. these come usually a month or so into the vegetation period. you'll see a couple usually pop up near the inside of the new branches from here on out.

you get that cap for the hps yet? let's get er runnin , eh!!
