i need a good timer for my new lumatek 250w / 240v ballast. i would prefer digital but i don't know if that is available for 240 volts. i would rather just have a plug in model and not one i need to wire up.
I sometimes use Intermatic Heavy Duty 240V Appliance Timers, if I don't have one hardwired in (I use Intermatic for those too). They sell 'em at my favorite growshop for like $20-$25. They're not digital, but you don't really need a digital timer for your lights anyway.
I'd second that intermatic (They make heavy duty timers and the timers that require hard wiring) Id go with the hard wiring, I have heard of cheap timers getting really hot and melting and almost starting fires. Dont have to worry about that with a proper gauge HD hardwired timer.
