good luck mate -

in your first post you mentioned your roots looked and smelled healthy. so that changed quickly? those dont look so sporty.

Whenever, in the past, my plants stalled badly, it has always been related to my roots looking unhealthy. I usually would blame it on some bacteria or whatever getting into the roots. Once it happened, they never fully recover. But it sounds like you are doing the right things. I would change out the res very frequently, once your roots go brown, if you hope to recover you will really need to keep root zone temps super low. roots will grow better with the temp too low than they will with contaminations. how cool can you get them?

foaf: i agree bout the low res temps, but those roots look better in real, maybe there was low light or something, but the new roots are definetly whiter and i do add cannazym and rhizotonic which colors the roots a lil bit.
"Whenever, in the past, my plants stalled badly, it has always been related to my roots looking unhealthy."
true but this time browning roots were the symptom not the problem, luckly, because root problems would be very hard to cure. and they don't smell rotty as they do if they'r in real truble, you agree*?
water temp is now 22°C.
i never change the res, except when they go to flower, works great every time because od the recirculative specs. of my system. i try to keep my fert consumption as low as possible.

caution on rhizotonic:
do not shake the bottle while open, it will cause you to stink like dead fish ;)

Cool it worked out, I was going to say 6.0-6.1 is kinda in the high range for hydro, Im sure they like the 5.5-5.7 area.

verite: you think? i let it go to 6.4 unitl i go in action in flower, but they do prefer lower than 6.0 in veg...yes they'r on 5.7 now, and they'r starting to love it :D ia also added some new fresh big clones and tossed one that was not useable anymore.
that's it for today ;)

I still think that you need a chiller something bad. I mean, no offence, but those are the scrawniest, scragliest plants I've ever seen. Forget about nutrients for now. You have some major problem. Most peeps jump on thier nutrients first thing when problems pop up, but fact is, I'f your using any modern nutes, Canna, GH, PBP, etc. that is rarely the problem.

yeah, tell me about it, i'm still waiting for them to start growing more vigrously, the roots are growing again but the other is still not HYDRO. i doubt that temps are the problem since they'r around 22°C....the thing is that it worked great untill this grow when i went vertical.
i've looked some photos and it's obvious that there's a lack of nitrogen in my system and other...so ec is now ~1.0, we'll c at the end of this week if there are some major changes...else...i'm gonna start over or what? :D
