Wow that is similar, and also just like this Holy Grail Kush I recently harvested.
This one turned out super sour it made my mouth water. I think I need a better camera
mmmmm yum love those sour strains. this golden berry has a very sour berry smell same with its taste but more citrus berry. dont get rid of all the heat. those sativas like 85f temps. i guess the indicas i have going love the heat also! but theyloooove the 90f they seem not to pray if its under 80f
Ok this grow is now on the clock! I put my purple haze Thai, wild Thai, and zamaldelica in wet paper towels today. I expect to have them in soil in 36 hours and cotyledons soaking up Rays in a week. We'll see
All 9 seeds have made it to seedlings and I'm relieved because I've been having 2 in 3 make it over the past year. I have only given them water and mycorrhizae so far.
The larger fan is keeping the plants at around 77 degs, and is also quieter since I mounted it in my attic. I've noticed there are lots of little flying bugs about the size of a fruit fly. I haven't had these in my grow room before and don't know if they are harmful or not. Perhaps my organic soil really is alive! I've also noticed that all five purple haze Thai have 5 points on their second leaves while all 4 non-purp have 3.
Plants seem to be moving right along. I have not fed them yet corky, but will give them some guano/casting tea this week. I would like to see how few additions my soil mix will let me get away with. Rev from TLO said this soil was practically "just add water". Any input on how well this soil does by itself would be greatly appreciated. I'm growing them in small pots until they all have sexed and will transplant into 3 gal pots then. Any day now the standard seeds will reveal themselves.
The branches grow much more horizontally than I've seen before, perhaps it's the Thai influence? Another observation is a speckled leaf that shows up on two of the purple haze thai. It doesn't look like an illness or problem, it looks genetic so I'm not concerned.
The purple haze have gotten really tall really fast. I kept them in 1 gal pots through the stretch as was suggested by corky. Not sure if I waited long enough but I transplanted today into 3 gal pots. Here are some pics, the tall ones are purple haze Thai and the shorter ones are wild Thai but seem pretty tame to me.
