NL5 X Skunk #1?

That's shiva then.

There are probably more than 10 strains that are NL5 crossed to Skunk1, but the parents are always different, same strain, different phenos/plants.

Give this thread a read

Interesting post from that thread:

The 'original' M-39 (i.e. Williams Wonder out of Williams, OR and Wonder, OR) is still around and has NOTHING to do with the M-39 being sold by various seed companies out of Quebec.

Nothing at all - period.

The last 'true' M-39 strain was gone when S.S.S.C. had to close up shop and then re-open as Sensi Seeds. This strain didn't make the transition.

Several old growers down in Southern Oregon keep the original genetics alive. Worth seeking out, IMHO

Totally different, the M-39 pictured is M-39 X Freezeland cross, commercial beasters picked before day 40 more than likely. The NL5 X Skunk 1 that EC grew is from Peak Seeds BC and the quality is definitely way higher than whatever was pictured on the first page.

ya that m39 is like a treat to some people the other commercial or home grown is even worst it must be like brutally beaster garbage. so i'm wishing someday i could move to a location that would be decent for growing personal until that day i'm coughing up black shit in the mornings.
sincerely....

I wonder if anybody has smoked a properly grown, dried and cured M39 to really give it a fair shake? I've only had it wet and uncured, and flowered too short...it pretty much drove me to growin my own.

I have seen really nice m39 in norcal. It is a pleasant smoke but not overwhelming. It is a heavy yielder and it finished fast indoors. When done properly it can be a very good tasty smoke that gets rid of tremors well.

I've smoked quite a bit of the canadian M39, and yea, can't say there was anything to ever write home about. It used to flood through Detroit down to Toledo when I lived up in NW Ohio, and then to Columbus, then south, where I live now, where it's passed off like some kind of amazing bud, and yes it looks pretty good, has a decent taste but it is nowhere near a medical strain.

I am a medical smoker and have personally run M39 clones, and yes if harvested when totally cloudy, it can make ya a little tired coming down, but no pain relief, slight anxiety relief.

But it does look kinda good. And it's better than smoking mids, whoever said that was a good idea. But mids around here are still ridden with seeds. Mostly hermied plants and improper home-grows/mexi-brick. So yea, M39 isn't to bad sometimes.
