Second pic is topped but the entire room needs a lot more torture before I can FLIP. Hopefully in a couple days. There wouldn’t be near as much work if I FLIPPED on Christmas and did what I needed to instead of hanging out with the fat jolly fucker in the red suit

Absolutely! Plants will be a lot happier in a day or 2. It’s not the right way by any means! I still blame Santa Clause!

How long between topping and flip?

I typically run 2-3 days but it all depends on how they bounce back from the torture! Might take an extra day or 2 this time because of my laziness.

150 cuts in domes. Only 80 will be kept. Winners stay and losers get culled.

IMO $20 extra in rooting cubes that will be tossed and a couple extra hours work to keep the best 80 is worth it.

the clone factory is the beginning of a successful grow.

I would honestly help anyone but the BS from 2 run tent grow know it all growers drives me crazy and ruins my typical easy going good attitude!

I live in the UK, and I have noticed a distinct rejection of the idea of experience and age as a quality. In my previous career, advertising, those who were worldly wise and original pioneers would often be rejected as 'dinosaurs' and ridiculed. I have always paid great respect to those who have succeeded long before I ever did. Culture change like this in my opinion is a road to ruin. At the very least people should take the time to listen, you don't have to take people's advice.

My career was sales and if you don’t learn early that you have 2 ears and one mouth! You fail! Use your ears 2x as much as your mouth in anything in life and you will probably be more successful!

I am not saying the younger generations don’t have anything to offer but they might be better heard and learn more if they listened more and talked less???

Are those trellis above the canopy? Your plants are in one-gallon pots getting watered 6 to 8 times a day. Is that correct friend?

The trellis is sagging a bit from being cheap and reusing as well as no tension on them. The nets are hanging loosely about a foot above the canopy and will be moved up 1 more foot and then they are maxed out in height!

I have profusely admitted how lazy I was over the holidays and how overgrown fucked I will be by the end of stretch

After ya grow a couple runs and when running veg and flower rooms simultaneously it becomes apparent quickly that whatever you slack off, fuck off, forget, or are lazy about is going to bite you in the ass sooner or later

As for watering:

Since before flip they have been
watered to run off 3x per light cycle! My hopes are always to get them to 8x light cycle by week 5. There are a ton of variables that go into the COCO DTW small pots including all of my above faults that dictate if the plants will need 5 or want 10 waterings per day and only runs under your belt will teach you this. Not a podcast not a book not a fellow grower experience trumps everything you read, listen to, or watch!

Pro tip!

If you have read this far and understand that you cannot overwater small pots of coco once they are root bound and if you learn how to run salts properly you can unnecessarily water 10 extra times per day and besides the water waste the nutrient cost would not be 20 cents more per day!
