Little bugs in my soil--

I was transplanting today, and I found 3 plants...that is the funny part, only 3 out of the 10 that were with it...but 3 plants are completely infested with small li'l white bugs in the soil..crawling completely from top to bottom of the soil-- there is no sign of them on the plants themselves...kinda tripped me out-- I have them by themselves right now--
What is the best insecticide to use on soil?? Spinosad??
I'll be checking at my hydro store tomorrow...just wondered what ya'll thought??
Thanks--

Are there also flying creatures in the grow space ? fungus gnats

That is the thing...I had no idea, before I pulled the plants out of the pots...there were no flying anything--
What do you think is the best "catch all" insecticide..I don't want to poison my plants...but I want these friggin' bugs gone--
*sigh*

Maybe they are springtails...I had them for two grows and they fucked up my yield pretty badly. Finally got rid of them by watering with pyrethrin.

Good luck

Just looked them up, and I think that is what they are--
It says they do not harm plants, but I am going to the hydro store today to get something to kill them--
Thank you--

Are they jumping around or just walking really fast? If they are small brownish white and look like little mites but aren't on the plants they could be beneficial (like hypoaspis miles), I'd be sure before you go and nuke everything.

I also read that they do not harm the planst and are beneficial...but thats outdoors. They will go for the healthy roots in the pots and fuck up the plants.

No, they are springtails-- My hydro guy recommended using Azatrol in my next feeding--
