I'm a small scale indoor guy, but a friend does some outdoor each year and uses composted horse manure as his planting soil, then uses miracle grow when sees deficiencies. We talked about making some compost teas with the manure. He has piles that are 2 and 3 years old. Do you have a preference to age of the manure? Would you share your recipe with me and any other advice? I know you need to bubble it for a day or two and use it right away, but that is about all I know when it comes to teas.
Thanks for posting so much detail, and I will be excited to watch these plants grow.
