I'm doing something similar. Staples will pull out though. Try Liquid Nails. You won't get any lift from the Velcro.
Yes I had to staple the crap out of it to get it to stay. Didn't think of liguid nails good idea.
Just a couple of thoughts.
Hook and loop can be had for much less from a Drapery Supply Mailorder,,, in 20 yd or more rolls.. a roll lasts me for years. Last time I ordered (years ago), was from R.H. Rowley Co. 1-800-343-4542.... I don't know if they are even in business yet. The roll was 25 yards brand Aplix NOT self stick, as that really isn't the answer. It needs to be glued, stapled or sewn on, to hold,,, or at least that was true some years ago.
Also, you might want to add a vent down low, that will open up a bit. You'll avoid premature 'burn out' of your extractor fans. Sounds like you may be working your extractor a bit much?
And a good Harvest to all!

With the velcro that I use, I don't need staples as long as I let the velcro sit for 24 hours after installation.
Where do you get your velcro and what brand is it?
Home Depot. I don't know the name. There's only 2 or 3 brands there. The first time that I used it (1998), I made the mistake of getting in the door only 20 minutes after installation and the velcro fell apart. When you leave it alone for 24 hours before trying to open the door, it shouldn't come off unless you put it on when it was dusty on the wood. I make sure to clean the wood first.

Great threat I was just thinking of doin this with some panda and Velcro...just like in the opening rolling it up once I open the normal door.
after prolonged uses the reflectix will leak light ...tek foi;l from farmtek is available in many thickness and 6 ft rolls if needed.....when I rebuilt my tent I used reflectix on it including door...worked great...
Maybe soo, but I am going past a year and a half with one hole in six doors. Hand watering everyday.
