light movers and cool hood=mega lumens

i had to move my op "underground" after a landlord scare. it reduced my ceiling height to 5 1/2 ft! i have 2 600w eyehorilux hps's sweeping a 12ft x 4ft space.
the cool thing is, i can keep the temps on top of the plants under 80F! i have 8in vented hoods with glass and a 440cfm fan sucking dead straight outside anywhere from 10in to 3ft from the exhaust out. (light movers)

So im thinking my plants are getting hella lumens since the light is so close so often, the light movers takes about a minute to go back and fourth, maybe less, it only moves like 3 ft.

the table is 18in above the ground plus medium plus plant heigt, they get close to that light. I havent got to see results yet, i finished some soil ones in there, but will not complete a cycle for 6wks. looken good so far tho. No burn on the ones i finished, they were inches from the light with no lightburn!

Curious if anyone has a setup that enables them to put the light so close to the canopy? also to see how far you let your lightmover move, ya know? shit id like to put 1 - 1k over a 4x12 tray with a light mover and see what happens! 2 600s should do ok tho.

no, i just set the lights on a light rail placed in between 2 floor joist (nice 10in high gap to place my mover!) i placed the lights in there particular spot becouse my crawl space happens to have an exhaust vent right there!
i had to install a 6x14 rectangle duct(with foam insulation) in the vent "hole" . it reduces into a 6in duct on the light side, where i can attach my 6"inline fan with a coupling, then that attaches threw 6in ducting to my lights that are inline. all that 6x14 thing is, is a floor ac vent you have in your house! if you take it out of the floor youll notice it reduces to a round 8 or 6in hole.i just used it sideways coming out of the wall in my crawl. 12bux or somethin at home depot.

the whole run from 1st light (i have 2 inline) to the fan is 6ft the fan its self is 6" from the exhaust port! giving me mass light coolage and hella full cfm from my fan, since there are no bends in the run. works fabulous!

I like light movers. But most users fail to reach expectations by moving the light too far.
18"max with a 1K. Even less with lesser wattage.
