There are a few possibilities why your plants are light green. One, they're wanting nitrogen because they have used up most available nitrogen in the pot and need to be fed. Two, the pH could have raised into a higher range locking out Iron, and other trace minerals. A pH lockout is mostly due to using Tap water with a lot of carbonates and bicarbonates in the water. Third, the soil has had a prolong period of staying wet and the nutrients can't exchange due to excess water. 😎
