When the surrounding crops ripen, the bugs are out of a home....... where could they find some lush green plants?

Wt frick 3rd time posting...

Gunna really just hit points.

Maracco hash pollen in spain?
Anyone ever actually get a crop ruined from hemp.
Atm kills alot of pollen even if present

Temporal difference in flowering Hemp has flowered now and outdoor is just just starting.

Locational difference. Are u under 10km from a hemp feild?

If happened to get a few survivors is a few seeds a huge deal?

Hear of lots of worry but very very few (none?)real catastrophes

Im about 100-150 kms from 2 very huge sea of hemp fields .. I can easily pick out the seeds in the bud . from the top to the bottom fully seeded . These lands are flat thats for sure.. Add in the next level winds and pollen travels very far .. I know these cultivars well and this was new one to deal with for me . Yet I still have meds to harvest and resin to separate. Life goes on. Next year im planning to dep early and fast . Partially heated greenhouse with extra lighting .. I'll beat the pollen . Maybe not the friggin ticks tho..

@clearheaded, several years here of fully seeded crop. Fields more way more than 10km away. Plants of neighbors in the city far away from fields got hit as well. Wouldn't call it a catastrophe, but its far from ideal.

Early tarping is better for sure. Tent caterpillar cocoonin is a big issue earlier, but if your in a covered gh have a big advantage to keeping them out.

Be sure to not crush many/any seeds when stuffing tubes and to run em as cold as possible. It sucks when a quarter or half the tubes weight is seeds, gotta run more tubes and grow more plants to get the same yields.

You are very right ! The plants on the trailer / shopdep were hit pretty good with aphids in the last 2 weeks . All the girls I was keeping in veg that were inside the greenhouse are good to go . Could not find a single one. And my greenhouse is wide open. I suspect the weekly compost tea sprays were keeping them at bay

You have nice looking working girls out there in the flat lands... lol....

How is the wild fire smoke out your way??

Pretty bad out here on the west coast... almost a nuclear winter, no real sun t to even speak of.
The girls working out doors are scrambling over nickles and dimes to feed themselves... haven't seen much growth in weeks.

Peace B.

yea man I just moved from the OKanagan / kamloops area .. Was rank last year and again this year.. Was on evacuation stand by for 3 months not a fucking drop of rain all summer . Sask is a nice change but the smoke has rolled in thick some days . I figure its only going to get worst over the years ... If its not lightning its stupid idiots throwing cigs out the window . SHit i hear broken bottles and glass along the roadway is enough to spark fires (sun+magnifying glass) Already prepping for next year.. EARLY light dep before the hemp pollen is released .. Also a more sealed greenhouse light dep .. Filter the intakes .. Still will get some seeds im sure but try and limit them. I turn it all into various extract anyhow

I’m thinking of doing a greenhouse grow, next year, timed to finish at the end of June..... early, maximum sun power, no hemp pollen and the rest of the summer off.

Ever make Bubble with pure Bud??

Peace...B

Absolutely . Fresh frozen nugs , dried n cured , trim ... anything . I will do nug run for most everything . I also will not trim the buds down very much . Just remove anything without crystal on it .

I was reading an article about wine growers worrying about their grapes tasting smoky.
Maybe the buds will taste funny too.
