light changes

Figured id post this here under newb section since its a newbie ??? Well my veg space is incredibly small for my flower rooms... i was thinking of bringing plants into my flower room under the 1kswhile lights on n bringing them back under floros for the remainding 12 hrs... giving them 12 hrs of intense light to speed them up.... r there ne negative effects caused by this???? other then me having to wake up to movem... would this work or would the change of light intensity shock them

there was alot of talk about how plants use light and they cant use all the light energy at once etc. Plus outside as the sun rises and sets, plants get different amounts of light, and cloudy days, etc.

Some people veg outside or in green houses, then use supplemental lighting at night to keep the 18/6 or 24/0 schedule.

So with no scientific knowledge, or facts, my gut says it would be fine.

I like to veg my soon to be flowering plants for a week under HID before switching to 12/12. I bring my whole veg room in for that week and they double in size. Then I put them back under the t5's. Never a problem, if anything it probably makes them stronger to stress triggers....
