Light Bleaching and Other Problem - Help

L

I've grown ISS for some time and have never seen "genetic yellowing" happening in any of them.

Just curious...did you grow yours from seed? And if so,whose version is it,Federation or Next Gen?

I had the same problem... my plants were about 22 days into flower, and a few of them were getting lighter green... I added a small amount of bloodmeal along with my regular feeding schedule, and they went back to that darker color... they look healthy now... this was in soil though...

MICK, Im pretty sure what you are experiencing in the ISS is not a genetic trait. I could be wrong, but not likley. Post a link backing up your claim if you can.

Out of the slime, finally.

The plants in the middle of the garden are getting the most light which is why they're looking more hungry than the better looking ones around the edges of your garden. Reason being that the more intense light puts more photosynthesis demands on the plants, requiring more or stronger nutrition.

I have just found this to be very true. I have hungrier plants where my 2 1k lights overlap. All green around the edges. Bumped up the nutes and trying to dial into the happy median.

Most of that being said is true, but looking at the pics, its not a yellowing due to N. There are several plants with bootom leaves having a stronger green with no any signs of N deff while the top leaves are yellowing. Thus, its not a N deff.

Its either a S deff (rare, but leaves looks so), or likely, a Fe deff (I would say, the most probably cause).

In order to identify the problem thas has caused the Iron deff, we need more info about the water used, substrate, etc.

As the Lucas F is not low on Fe, there should be some cause behind the problem with it. Either its being getting out the res (precipitation issue, hard water with lots of Ca and or Na?; are you using UV desinfectation?) or its being locked out in the growing media (too much organic matter? media ph is too high?).

In order to keep using same res with just add on, its a must to have a very well balanced nutrient profile, matching with plants requeriments and using very soft to pure (RO) water, or Ca and Na goes accumulating very strongly on just a few weeks.

look man iam not wanting fall out over rare pheno i happened to grow a couple of years ago man.
il post a few other pics of the same grow. peace. :joint:

if i remember right i got 5 females from 5 seeds and two of them turned yellow 4/5 weeks into flower.
the smoke was a allround buzz not recommended to drink alcohol with though but strong enough.
will grow it again at some time. as the pics show i made a good go of growing this strain and all plants were perfect come harvest time. :joint:

the linage for this strain is pink grapefruit/big skunk i think so there could be a lot of phenos.

peace
