Lifesaver Grow

Got a couple plants growing in my grow cab. Probably about 2 weeks or so from harvest.

Just switched nutes I was using because it's become evident to me they are no good. pH always drops outta sight and nute lockout occurs. Trying some floramicro and florabloom nutes right now and I think they seem to like it. I don't want to starve the ladies when they are supposed to be putting on weight now do I?

As the grow keeps going I'll keep posting pics.

BOG's strains have been in all my grows. I grew bogglegum the first time I grew. That plant was a beauty. Best tasting bud I've grown. The bogglegum isn't as potent as the lifesaver though and well if I had more space I'd be growing many strains. As it is I just grow enough for my own use (and a couple other close associates).

When I'm smoking with other people they always ask where I get my bud... I'm never really sure what to tell them. I usually just say I have a friend of a friend that gives me great deals... so good in fact here take this nugget and smoke it at your leisure. I'm probably being a little suspecious but well I love to smoke tha herb and I've always smoked up those around me (old habits die hard).

Anyway... man I ramble on a lot when I'm buzzed... and I'm almost constantly buzzed... except for when I go to work... most of the time.

Hey julman.

Well, let's see. I grow hydroponically, started off that way and I've yet to try soil. This is the first grow that I've used waterfarms, which overall are really easy to work with.

I guess you should watch your nute concentration levels with this strain. It doesn't seem to like higher ppms very much.

You CAN expect very frosty buds though. Right now when I handle these plants (which I try to do as little as possible) my hands and arms get really sticky. I've got rather hairy arms (should wear a long sleeve shirt) and it sticks to me like flies on sh*t.

This plant is a very hardy plant and grows vigourously during veg. I've had one of these lifesavers take over my small grow cab and literally push the other plants into corners. Quite amazing to watch.

Anyway, I don't know if I've given you anything to work with or not but if I haven't just let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.

Time for a blast and bed.

So the Lifesaver doesn't like high nuits. Could U tell me what level , U think they liked the best, and the ph?? what did U try keeping it at 5.8?? . So Keep the PPM down, the PH under 6??, above 5.5??. What did U think of the finished product?. Thanks Again for the answers,as the BEST person to ask, is someone how has grown it!!!! Yes, Lifesaver is hardy in veg and frosty in flower indeed and you look like a fine grower. Lifesaver is couchier than Bogglegum but I love the taste of Bogglegum too. Have you ever tasted REZDOG's Killer Queen? I think it is wonderful too but Lifesaver is really quite medical in effect due to the high CNB ratios relative to thc. Lifesaver has been tested at 25% thc which is higher than Bogglegum as well but the high if LS is a bit too couchy and narcotic for all day smoking. Do you get a haze like taste? BOG

Julman - hummm, I've been told that anything over 1200ppms and the plant starts to fuss. pH, well as I understand it, you want to keep it between 5.2 to 5.8 for optimal uptake of nutrients. At optimal pH's the various nutrients are in a form the plant can absorb it and use it for growth, repair, metabolic functions, etc. Right now I'm having a heck of a time keeping the pH at an optimal level during flowering. My plants are having a fit cause the pH is in the 4.5 range and I know this isn't helping her pack on bud weight .

The finished product? Well lets just say it's very nice smoke, though I didn't get a chance to flush it last grow and it didn't taste all that great before it was allowed to cure. Right now they've had about a 2 to 3 month cure on them and they taste just fine. I've passed a few nuggets around to a few close friends and they seem to really enjoy it . It's pretty much all I'm smoking right now, though I do have a little heavy duty fruity that is nice to smoke in the bong.

As for the LSD, no, I've not had the pleasure of trying or growing that.

BOG, the man, the legend . I try to grow it, but I know I'm not giving it what it really needs to shine. It's hard as a beginner because you really don't know what the plant needs and when it needs it but all of your strains I've tried seem to be VERY forgiving

I really enjoy the lifesaver because of it's couchlock effect, that's what I'm after. I kinda look at it as when I'm stoned, I wanna be on the couch with the remote forgetting what I was just doing, otherwise I'm not stoned (mostly do to my line of work) and I have to function on a "normal" level. I would not want to get ripped on the LS just before a client meeting and try to explain technical details to them, I'm not all that sure I'd be capable of it.

I've not tried REZDOG's Killer Queen. As for a haze taste... man I'm starting to feel like a newbie, I don't believe I've smoked that either.

I've smoked a large amount of pot, just not a variety. I've had, white widow, AK47, lifesaver, bogglegum, lemon skunk and a ton of commercial BC grown buds (not sure what it was but it certainly did the trick).

My next grow is going to be OGKush (clone should be on it's way soon). I've heard good things about that strain. I'm just smacking my lips for this grow to finish cause lookin at those buds is makin me drool. I've smoked all the tops cola's and now I'm working on the "popcorn" buds from my last grow. Still gets ya ripped though.

Well, I must say I am looking forward for this grow to wrap up.

1) cause I want to smoke this pot
2) cause I'm getting low on my stash (ie around 2 oz's)
3) did I mention I want to smoke it?

They are very frosty and well they just look yummy. I have had a few minor problems during this grow (I was hoping I wouldn't) but hey, it's gonna be totally smokable soon.

In the next day or two I'll start to flush it with clearex and pH adjusted water and nothin else. I'm thinking it has another week or so to go. The trics when viewed under the radio shack scope are mostly cloudy with clear here and there, not much amber yet but they should start to show up soon.

I'm gonna guesstamate about 4 oz's from both plants (I hope I'm wrong and I have more) but I have no clue One plant is just kickin, the other is very small. It had a very rough start and well I'm surprised it's come along as far as it has .

I just got my ogkush clone yesterday and it's in my "cloning box" (basically a styrofoam containter with a flouro light in the top). From what I hear/read, it's a killer strain. I was very fortunate to get a clone of it and I'll probably be cloning it to keep it on hand.

Mothra - Will do a report 4 sure I'm smoking these plants mom right now and I kinda messed it up last grow but it's still fantastic smoke. Really tasty with a 3 month cure on it

I'm loving the lifesaver. I'll be loving it more in a couple months . I'm flushing these plants right now with just plain water and a little clearex to clean out the salts. Adjusting the pH of newly added water and they are thirsty. I'm starting to see some of the fan leaves really go downhill now (I could have done a better job, but I learned something else and the next grow *should* be better). I'm expected to try and harvest this weekend since it'll be around 56 days flowering and the trics are mostly all cloudy now with a few amber coming in here and there (more amber is what I'm waiting for).

Sleepy - the waterfarm is a nice little unit that can grow nice plants. I messed around with a megagarden my first two grows. I think I am getting better results with the waterfarm

My main goal is to grow me some decent smoke that I can enjoy whenever I want... which seems to be all the time hehe.

Took a few picks of the "pop corn" buds that are hangin out down the plant a little further. Some of the buds are really light green but they are still growing trics like mad. It almost looks like someone sprinkled sugar all over the plant.

Looks like I'm gonna be a little busy tomorrow

I could use a hand, but my current circumstance just won't permit it. As much as I'd love to call up some people I know and say common over, we'll have a great time, smoke some weed, play some music, trim up some bud... you just can't do that . As me pappy taught me, loose lips sink ships.

He also told me that my bonnie lies over the ocean, my bonnie lies over the sea, my daddy lied over my mommy and that's how I came to be. I never looked at my grandma the same again

Anyway, just a little ripped is all :wink:

These are as they looked about 30 mins ago. They don't know what's comming, the poor things. I always have a hard time cutting them down, I'm sure it's no picnic for them either. But alas they have fufilled their intended destiny and I am but a instrument of their fate.

With that in mind... DAMN I can't wait to smoke this herb
