that's why its always said: the best og is the one you have dialed in. usually the subtle differences show up later in flower. not sure how long you're planning on flowering those PF, but og's don't start really rewarding us for our efforts until 70 days or so...

Well, that just got me way more excited to flip my sfv. I got her five foot tall and bushed just haven't been able to get cuts to root so she's gonna be even bigger by flip
I wouldn't personally flip a 5ft og, it would end up an 8ft+ floppy nightmare of lesser quality than it could be IME. og's produce the best quality when flowered at 12-18", they stretch 2.5-3ft no matter how big they are at flip. I get my best results flipping og's @ around 18" tall, with at least a few tops, 9 like that will easily fill up a light. those ladies usually end up right around 3oz from a 3gal pot(og's tend to prefer a bit smaller pots ime, I use 2 & 3 gal exclusively, 3's in summer, 2's in winter)

They will be pulled when done. However long that takes. Those are seeded. That's more important then what they produce for this run. I want perfect seeds.

The next batch will get a longer veg and trained much better. I'm not looking for vertical growth. I will train them to bush as best I can.. LST,Topping should work well. I find them easy to root. No issues with that yet. I use RR+Clonex+Dome+Heat to 80F and wait..

Anyone ever try Tissue culturing?? I have done my homework. I want to try it. If I get this to work its another safety net I can use for the plants I forget to take cuts from.

The thing is, I haven't had any luck yet getting cuts of her to root, so I'll be filling a whole dome up of just sfv cuts so she'll get pruned back quite a bit before flipping, either way I've seen people on here pull good numbers off huge og plants with a good leg shave nice and high, she will be going in a vert flower room too so height is not as much of an issue, thank god. Also, my Underdawg og stretches crazy and I vegged her too long last run, flipped her at four feet under a reflector and it wasn't as much of a catastrophe as my old partner thought it would be, but the yield wasn't so hot cuz it ended up being a seventy inch tall plant with light only hitting the top well. Hoping vert bare bulb rectifies this issue

Menards and Home Depot are out of seed starter mats so I ordered some and hope it helps. Everything else rooted no problem, a little late maybe, but the sfv cuts I took aren't doing shit after 25ish days in the dome

do the cuts you're taking have nice green, pliable/soft stems? the woody, sometimes striped stems are tougher to root. rapid rooters, dip n grow, and no dome and og's are usually rooted in 12-14 days or so for me. I use a mat in the winter but not so much now that it's warming up.

I hear ya this was the first and last time I will ever try it. Figured it would help them out because lots of organic guys foliar feed but I learned my lesson to not do it anymore.

Finished Cory stardawg shots later tonight or tomorrow.

Forum cut? Looks beautiful

The cuts were all new lowers that were still nice and green, I guess a couple might have had purple stems, but the heating pad and domes are a must for me because my rooms are all built in my basement, temps stay between 72/68 in my veg room, with ambient RH between 40-50% pretty consistently

I can promise you wont be disappointed in the quality/Yield. Really good both of them..

Yeah I've been checking out sfv budshots and was waiting to see yours, beautiful as always, I passed on the true og and fire cuts after getting the sfv for fear of all my buds being too similar and mix ups and what not. I'm stoked for the sfv and kinda still want the ghost cut

I just flowered my first sfv og 6 days ago. She sure is viney in veg. I got cuts to root in 9 days. Also have the fire og and at 3 weeks I can smell the lemon pledge spot on.

If you follow my style you know I'm gonna try and make them bitches blow up.
