So Im not there but I still think if you want to grow really big trees your better in the ground .You don’t have to pick out like a dog grave ,A foot deep and maybe 3’ around add some compost. Silt is fine the plant will grow roots through that shit ,rocks and all .Im thinking that bringing in all that soil and filling bags is also a lot of work .The raised beds are a good idea it’s all about no root restrictions. Should be fairly easy too just get a top soil delivered (dumped right were you need it ) and make a mound . A green house would be cool but not necessary, you will need a really tall one lol .Maybe throw some clear plastic down now to get the ground warmed up a bit
Problem is the boulders ... but yea, I agree I may just make some nice soil for my pots idk..

I have the same problem with digging in my yard seems there is cement boulders everywhere 6” under the soil. I planted some trees last year in 25 gallon pots

trees are ok but this year I’m going for something shorter…
Yea, u put the shovel in the ground n it's just rocks and clay by me... it's sooooo much easier to get a big pot and out soul in there without digging... im gona dig a big hole this year for my tree. But it's gona take all day, then gotta fill back in..
Those are some nice trees, 👌 👍
What kinda smoke u get off them?

Check out my new baby bonsai!!!!!
It's a plant on a shiny rock I came across with a sleeve around it planted in a tiny ash tray...
Sleeve is for exposed roots over the rock eventually, I want this one as small as possible 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

thanks so much
It was decent smoke but could have a been better yield as tall as they were. I have a lot of shade coverage that I deal with outside I grew triangle kush mixes last year and a C99 outside. I can’t seem to grow weed as good outside where I live anywhere near as good as inside but I’ll be trying again this year with something new.

I'm also growing c99, and also deal with some shady places, how did that grow outdoors?? What month did it finish? Does it get cold by u?
Lol I'm just excited for her, I'm hunting down a fruit punch pheno, I hope I can find it lol.
Ima breed them together either way, I have male and female c99.

Also, if you use a bigger felt pot it will be a bigger plant, you won't get the root boundless like plastic does,
Like how the roots ball up when it hits the plastic walls, with the felt it prunes the roots for you with air, it helped me idk, go from 3 ft plants in 5 gal buckets to 8- 10 ft plants in 45-200 gal felties, you can go as small as 20 outside in my experience.

It gets very hot and humid here Like I said I have a lot of shade but manage to find 4 spots around my mostly sunny deck. The sativa grows here better outside with not many PM or bud rot issues that many have growing outside in my area so I’ll prolly do C99 strains again outside but maybe not haven’t yet decided. I harvested my c99 in the first two weeks of October. Buds were long and shaggy kinda fluffy compared to the tight hard buds I usually grow inside but the weed was decent but light in yield for their size

I use 25 gallon cloth pots outside with no root bound. I hate them inside and prefer plastic

I've got a few goin and I'm planning a indoor run, but outside is usually better, better light they can get bigger, u know. And yea, that's prolly when I would be harvesting here but that's potential frost by me... really needs tj be done by then or I could loose it...
Ima still try tho lol
If you have any tips for the c99 it's my first time growing it.
I'm happy to hear, thank you in advance!!.

I did start mine early about the first week in May outside but in seedling cups to move them around with the sun and protect them from the weather while they were young. After I sexed them for 4 females (our limit here in Virginia) I planted them in their big girl pots so planting early may help. We get an early frost here sometimes too but they can take more cold than I expected by seeing them grow in Colorado with snow on them…

It's not really legal at all when they have limits,it's like eating a pie and letting someone else lick the fork.

They seemed to grow pretty well in my shadehouse, not really slow, I don't know about dry or wet conditions I have been watering every couple of days.

100% germination, 3 seeds out of 3, 2 were male 1 female, 1 male only grew about 30cm tall while the other grew 1m tall which I let pollinate the female so I don't have to import more seeds (I'm in Australia).

Haven't harvested yet so I don't know about flavour but she smells like watermelon from a few metres away.

Does it give more bud like I hear? Like it has less foliage so it creates more bud?
Did you have to trim much?
It seems to be growing a good amount of bud especially considering it was planted in December instead of September and in my shadehouse with 50% shadecloth.

I think it will be easy to trim due to the openness of growth.
