Definitely looks Casey Jones heavy with that cola and stretch

How's its smelling ?

Earthy/Gas (Casey)
Sweet Grape ( GDP)
Skunk/Body odur/stepped in something ( Chem d)

Or crazy blend and none if above, looking great either way , thanks for posting up pics

I'm starting to get a bit of aroma hanging around. I'll be going over my exhaust & filter system this weekend. Check for leaks, etc. The airborne smells is a general "good ganja" smell at the moment.

The smell on my hands after working in the tent is kinda fruity. I've never experienced GDP, but I suspect that is what I'm smelling. The secondary aromas are more earth/gas than my expectation Chem-D.

I'm in Prohibition Land and mostly consume my own product, so I haven't tasted any of the parental lines (GDP, Casey Jones, Chem D). Therefore, my nose and palate may be tuned different than y'all ...

Cloudy trichs are sprinkled across the top most buds and I reckon at least another 2-3ws. Lots of foxtailing now. These plants seem to be light feeders and easy sippers. The reservoir goes down rather slowly and they are coasting happily at a steady 1.3-1.4 EC. Other then my underestimation of their stretch & height, they are easy growing plants. I like strains that I can leave alone for a week when I work out of town. I'd trust these kids not to throw a party and wreck my tent ...

Nice update bro , looking and sounding great.

Yes the Fruity smells will be from the GDP side and any purple colour observed on flowers.
Starting to get that traditional loud smell is a great sign, give these an extra flush or watering than usual to really bring put those smell/taste , especially to enhance the GDP Fruity Grape/Berry side.

Try take a close up pic or 2 or a cola if you have time before you harvest them

Hi Ojd,
Damn you have some ass-kicking strains and unfortunately up until now I haven't been able to do anything with your stuff but sooner or later I have to make up my mind because you have some good herbs.
Nice one bro 👊

I got to thank these growers who help show the goods to , as I can only grow so much myself so rely on other people to help showcase my strains 🙏

Nice shot, brother.👊

I have to thank these growers who helped me showcase the products, as I can only grow a certain amount myself, so I rely on other people to help me showcase my strains.🙏
If one day you need a serious and reliable tester who always brings the growing treads to the end I would be very happy and available to try your strains.

I like doing a forum grow log. When I write in a paper journal, I often get lazy by the end. The journal helps the breeder with some promotion and encourages me to write down useful details. When the breeders offer up seeds for documenting the grow, all the better!

I'm calling it. We've got about 10% clear, 85% cloudy, and 5% Amber trichs. The tent is quite overgrown and it's hard to see what going on in the middle. Thus, the yield will be a surprise no matter what is revealed. I usually keep my plants better trimmed & trained, but the vigor & stretch caught me out this time. I will definitely flip to flower 2wks earlier next time.

Grab your scissors kids, we're gonna be trimming this weekend! For future reference, by the end we'll have flowered for 12.5wks after about 7wks veg from seed.

That's got to be the longest flower time I've ever heard for the Grandoggy Jones , definitely must be ready , and bet it will hit very potent for the 12 plus weeks.

Great log
Throw up some pics when dried and a few notes on taste/High and then hit me up for a free pack of seeds.

I've only noticed the first few amber trichs this week and that is my usual cue to harvest. That said, I've got limited experience with sativa dominant plants. I'm okay with these running long, because they bulked up and my stash closet needs bulking up too.

I'll definitely put up some after-harvest pics. I want you guys to see how gnarly and cool looking the buds are! Two of the middle buds I reckon are the largest I've ever had ...

Crazy structure. Looks really similar to a pic I’ve seen of the deadchemhead from connoisseur genetics, which also has Casey Jones as a parent.
It has foxtails poking all over, like somebody with dreads waking up after a crazy big night out. Also, I think there might be nice purple streaks that weren't easily noticeable before. I haven't had a lot of purple weed, but what I've had I've loved. A good omen in my eyes.

Quick Harvest Day report. We had a great yield, no worries there. As it turns out, the front two plants that I took my notes from are a different pheno from the two plants at the back. Due to the vigorous growth I couldn't observe the back of the tent well. Front plants are huge buds with foxtails galore and hints of purple, I'm calling these Casey Jones Dominate. The back row plants are foxtail free with more purple and the buds are moderate size balls. I'm calling these Grandoggy Dominate. I roughly sort and grade my harvest into Grade A special occasion buds, Grade B daily drivers, and Grade C for hash & edibles.

Last pic, if you're in Australia, these $4 scissors from Bunnings are my new favourite at any price!
