Maybe the cops were going to rip the buyers for the cash, then put the pot back in evidence and no one would be the wiser, Except the buyers shot back, OOPS! ain't supposed to work that way. Plus if the other cops cover for them, the families will still get survivor bennies, where if they were dirty, the city might not have to pay and you can bet the insurance companies wouldn't pay.

It's in the new daily somewhere a op kicked some guys ass for nothing or cops caught burglarizing places on the night shift. So why is it so hard to think they may be dirty cops. They were out of their jurisdiction, supposedly doing a deal without informing anyone what was taking place. The Sgt in the report even stated that he had no clue why they were in the area. So why is it so hard to figure they were up to no good

The spokesperson in the report said he didn't know why they were there, I'm sure it will come out though after the investigation is over. He also mentioned that it wasn't unusual for investigations to take police to other towns.
But even if they were dirty cops it doesn't do any good to cheer death and talk about cops like people have done in this thread. We end up looking like gang-bangers and heartless fucks in the process, a black eye on the growing community.

The police are the ones blackening the eyes of the growing community, not the other way around. They don't deserve our sympathy or respect. They are heavily armed thugs who rob us and steal our freedom at every opportunity, for their own profit. In this case, they got in over their heads and got one of their own killed while they were trying to jack $250,000.

Cheering for a cops death is never a good image for us. The difference between Martin Luther King and the Black Panthers. I for one don't want to be associated with gang-bangers and people who say they would gladly kill a cop to get away.
