Thanks for the help. I will get on it. I lifted the light 6 inches. Take it easy.

Well welcome to ICmag. Glad to have your first post here.

I have been slacking off on posting photos, mostly because I am not with any flowering plants.

The Holodeck has 8 PKs and their are all about 48". I need to finish putting in the support stakes and getting black buckets to cover the light into the orange buckets.

There is also one SLH which is 60" so I guess it will be flip time in a few days.

I am hoping for 50% stretch in flower giving me 6' trees. Well let's get the mini split installed and really start rocking this joint ;)

good to see your working your old bucket system now your gona rock em bro, cant wait!

I'll second that.

Hydro you and Teresa are my motivation for my new drip buckets so it's nice to see you doing what you do best. I went with 10 gallon sterilte containers, hoping that double the root space will give me closer to 1.5# per after a few runs and everything is dialed in.

Well the Holodeck is just a bunch 5gal orange buckets, with standard 10"net pots, hydroton, 4"x3" rock wool, rapid rooter, and PK. There are no holes in the orange buckets but there is an air stone running 24/7 in there.

Since there are no holes I am hand feeding the plants about 1gal of my mix a day.

I am working on getting back to the farm kit drip along with a micro pore airstone and the orange bucket with hundreds of wholes for drainage. I will then drop this bucket into a black bucket. RedSpaghetti deserves credit for getting me off my ass on the double bucket, but I think DG had the double Lowe's buckets with his SSH a few months before Red.

You can notice the airline an inch under the top of the bucket and you can see the air connection for the farm kit drip ring. So each of these buckets require two airlines.

So I am going back to my old systems sort of, but these buckets can be dropped into 5gal buckets, or I can drop them into Brutes. I am loving these vertical bulbs, you guys should really give them a try.

you must be as busy as me just stoppin in to say what up

Yep I've been a little lax on the photo taking and posting, seems like a lot of us are spending more time having fun and upgrading than posting these days, but gardens are looking great. I can't wait to see what the office has been up to.

Well so here is a lady who has had 10 days of 12 hour nights. The stakes are 72" tall but they sit 15" into the bucket, so the tops of the steaks are only 4.75' or 57" from the top of the net pot. Let's be genorus and say this lady is 3" above the stake so she is exatly 5' I hope she finishes at 7' with loads of buds but only time will tell.

Hey H.S.

I know this amazing plants looks and taste great in hydro. I was wondering if you have had the pleasure of smoking this lady in a 100% organic grow and if so did you notice any difference in flavor/taste, smell etc? I am guessing no but I have to ask...

hey L,i didnt get to harvest, but the PK i had in organic soil mix just reeked of french roast coffee beans,i thought it was a stronger scent than the hydroponc pk's i have seen, but its hard to say on an un-harvested plant

MMM that sounds amazing, funny thing is as I read this I have a pot of French roast in the coffee machine. Kind of surreal actually.:D

Really was curious because I have a coco run 3 weeks out and really want to toss a few of these ladies in some real rich organic mix (next round) and have a blind taste test so to speak. Sure the coco one would be cured longer but I really want to see. I have a few friends with really sharp pallets so I think I am going to try to see this thru. I figure it could go down once the organic version has a 30 day cure.

I'm growing my LVPK in fully organic complete soil fed only with plain water and maybe some mild teas. The PK has reacted the best to my soil mix... which is a bit hot. Growing in soil like this has given me the healthiest most vigorous plant's I've ever grown. I can't wait to taste the organic PK.

What's up hydrosun?? How ya been?
