What's new

legit Zamaldelica beans?

hi all.
I purchased seeds today from a local traveling vendor. I talked to him for quite a while he seemed like a good enough guy. i bought Ace - Zamaldelica, i hope.

I often read similar posts, from people that seemed rather paranoid or high strung and seem to trip out on some unexpected packaging.

I however am disturbed to find 10 beans in my package considering that the boo sells 5 per package. as they are feminized seeds that is typically the standard. cost was the same.

the only possibilities I can think of are that they are either: counterfeit, miss packaged by the breeder or they were part of a different release.

1) the packaging seems easy enough to counterfeit its just a plastic vial and paper label inside of a sealed plastic bag. the plastic vial had a white stopper in it and what appears to be a "soil moist" crystal inside. along with 10 dark, nice looking beans. it's dated "28/05/12".

2) breeder miss packaging seems unlikely although I've never purchased any Ace seeds before. perhaps they are either extra beans of the Zamaldelica or simply the wrong beans, probably unfeminized.

3) are there any releases of this that might have 10 beans?

any input from anyone with any experience would be appreciated.

Right on, looks legit. Of course I know nothing of the matter, but it will sure be interesting to see if they are the real deal!,,

I wasn't really planning on starting them anytime soon. but if I'm not confident in what they are I don't want to start them at all I'd rather just go online and purchase new ones.

if they were female seeds they would have a sticker on the front that says "fem"

it also looks like a sticker stuck on the front that says 'zamaldelica' see if you can peel it off

What you have there is 10 seeds Zamaldelica and they are regular.
I have exactly same packet and it's dated same as yours 28/5/2012

No need to peel anything off...name is in a sticker in all strains.
And they come in thin plastic wrapper.
Those are ok, no worry

thanks a lot everyone for the answers I feel a lot better I did not know these were offered as regular seeds. the packaging is all printed in Spanish I could not tell if there was something that refered to them being regular or feminized.

it will be exciting to be able to pollinate some fancy females from this Zamaldelica. I don't have any real plan on running these anytime soon, just because I got a lot going on. but I was sold by the description "terror-riffic"

thanks

I agree that they are most likely legit. My zamaldelica regulars had about 13 seeds in the pack I think. I had a sticker for the strain name on the pack also.

the only reason I was describing the packaging is because I did not know what to expect.

I didn't realize regular seeds were ever available of this. I'm actually kind of excited that I got something that wasn't really available anymore.

now to try and restrain myself from germinating them before their time. lol.

I love seeds. I have been looking at Ace and CannaBiogen lately. a lot of awesome looking sativas.

thanks dubi,
I had just started looking at Ace seeds when I came across this local vendor and purchased the Zamaldelica. I didn't realize how many different beans you offered in regular and feminized. so my concern was solely from the fact that I thought they were only offered in 5 feminized.

I also want to say that I'm an idiot because the vendor gave me a menu that clearly said that those seeds were "10 regular".

I picked up Malawi last week! Ace has some incredible varieties! it'll be hard to not buy a pack every week.

thanks for responding dubi
