Hey bro whats up? Hope all is well. Just wanted to stop in & say that I have been using your method of "Pumping" & it really is working great so far. I have been using the feed, feed, water/molasses method. I bumped up my solution to 1tbs/gallon of PBP Grow. I noticed a whole 2 nodes growth between my first feed & the second, which was like in 2 days. Might not be exciting to some but it blew me away.

I'm currently on my third week of veg & they are building their sixth node now. Sorry I don't have pics. Will veg for about 2-3 more weeks so I can try my hand at cloning. Both of my berries smell like fruity shit, LOL, & are some mutants. They have some coloring already in the leaves. Very pretty.

Sorry for the ranting bro, just wanted to thank you for such a simple method of growing to try out. Will keep you posted. PEACE

Howzit brother..?? Very good info thanx for sharing with us all.. I kinda already pump somewhat not exactly like you do but, closae nuff.. I have had the pleasure of puffing LUI and loved it.. In fact i would like to get some more.. sooner than later lol... Anyhow i will keep watching yer grow and info show.. bbl peace.

Love this strain, have never grown it personally, but have puffed on a few. I water like that, reason cause I'm a cheap bastard who can't fathom the nute run off, I then flush my plants a few times during the flowering cycle with water/molasses, bulks em up nicely. Good luck with your grow.

Great thread. I have some LUI and hopefully some day will get to grow it. What attracts me to the Ortega plant is it is said to be great sleep med without producing a hangover. I would love to harvest some of the Ortega pheno but you can't go wrong if you produce something that leans to ST3 either.

Awesome.. and so glad I could pass along BW's method to others. I've seen a big turn around in my grow and my current new grow of Agent Orange I surely cannot complain about growth. Everyone just got flushed really good with clearex and then sweet.. now back to pumping.

My LUI's are starting to finish up and turning purple as I type it seems. check them out at day #47..








Thanks everyone for stopping in.. I'll follow this thread up with a good smoke report. I'll chop the smaller one at day 50 for the wife "Ladybug" . And the bigger one I'll run to 50% amber trichs which should be about day 65 max as she really ripens fast.. day #47 she is 5% amber trichs and already potent. But, never ran her past day 55 and want to see what she is like as a couch lock med. and beddie bye. peace

yeah i had a few different pheno's that I lost... i have 2 diff pheno's left but they are some weaker pheno's that I obtained from another grower after I lost my beloved phenos...

LUI is a great plant to grow...

That really sucks because she was lovely bro.. I love this plant but she has one very bad drawback. Low yields. I think her biggest issue is the NO stretch when flipped, so you have to veg her longer to get her where you want in size prior to flipping her to flower.. I prefer a strain that doubles..

I found my one pheno from only 3 F1 seeds gifted to me from Motarebel. Said he'd been holding onto these 3 true LUI beans for something special. So big thanks to him for coming off these.. one died, both the other seeds were ladies, what luck. I called them "Thelma & LUIeez" .

LUIeez was wierd.. Very strong Sativa presence, but not noticed so much in leaf structure as is was after she was force flowered.. At one foot tall she ended up at 4.5ft in the end. Long branches size of your arm, but way way to much leaf to bud ratio. A true looking Sativa. Long flower time also.
Thelma was perfect except for one thing. Low yields unless Super Veg'd.

I have chosen the strain to pollinate her with in hopes of really bulking her up & adding more potency..
Velvet Revolver. It has the Orange Velvet Skunk I love along with the Woodhorse version of Herijuana. (THC @ 24.177%).

I've made a decision.. time to give Gumby one chance at breeding while I am dusting my Agent Orange with Velvet Revolver, I will go ahead and hit a few clones of Gumby/LUI with AO also and see what I get.. her flavor is unreal and she has so many great qualities as far as growing goes like real eary finishing times if you like a more up high & especially cloning in 5-7 days like clockwork.

here is a little bowl of goodness, about 1z, yeah, not good IMHO.. she is potent enough to chop at day 55 @ 30% amber trichs and is the high we like from this particular strain.

Take 2-3 hits and while your smacking your lips and enjoying a taste that is a wonderful fruity/berry flavor that is slowly followed by a nice floating up soaring high that kills nausea almost immediately.. something I wake up with every morning due to Morphine.



Oh, I do have a few more going as I'd love some stash of this to keep around for morning sickness.



I'll keep this thread going and update this last grow.. then see what becomes of her as I breed her clones in the next few months..
