I do not know about ya'll, but in Texas they passed a law in which you can not have any license plate covers, borders or pictures covering your license plate. This means, if you have one of those nifty little borders around your plate, such as the "I'm a Bitch", "A&M Aggie and proud" or even a "Jeff Haas Mazda" one, you could be screwed. If ANY of the writing on your plate is covered, they will nail your ass. If part of Texas is covered up, not even the numbers and letters, they can still get ya. Any writing at all, if it is covered, you get a stiff fine. I have seen it enforced too.
Also, you are legally not allowed to have anything hanging or dangling from your rear view mirror. No crosses, no cds, no little Puerto Rican flags, nothing.

I believe that's on the books in most states, but is enforced only when they want to really bust your balls
