Overall: Quite good
Bag Appeal: It’s a lump of soft (but not oily) black hash. It came shipped in a PHA plastic compostable container wrapped in parchment – so it wasn’t stuck to anything!
Smell: sweetish earthy hashy smell
Taste: incense
Potency: 43.83% THC 0.29% CBD
Terpenes: Caryophyllene, Farnasene, Humulene, Limonene, Myrcene

Yes, my current fav – the Purple Hills Moroccan Gold – may have to move over and share the space at the top of the heap in the good and affordable category. This hash just hits the spot. First of all, it is not a racy Sativa hybrid strain. The better Canadian hash makers seem to have veered towards Sats for the last few years - probably to avoid serious couch-lock inducing products. I guess they want you to stay awake and smoke more. Seriously though, they have tended toward the get up and go type of experience and they have been very successful producing wonderful upbeat hash - with their higher THC versions melting your face quite nicely. But sometimes you really want to chill. You know, the kind of hash that makes you want to listen to the whole album rather than hitting the track selector like a demon. The Platinum is such a hash - warm, smile on your face, and chill - with a nice smell and taste to boot!
It is made from indoor, organically grown cannabis produced in their own facility in Bécancour, Quebec - across the St. Lawrence River from Trois-Rivières. The Platinum is pressed ice water hash, hand rolled into Temple Balls and aged before release. They have indoor and outdoor spaces with living soil and they are very ecologically conscious – even their hash container is made of compostable PHA plastic. They obviously listened to some of the whining from the earthers about the excess of cannabis packaging in legal Canada.
Anyways, this one has earned a prime spot on my buy list.
