Led quality and yield vs hps?

I have a little grow box I made. Inside are cfl's,t5's and a cheapo led fixture off ebay from China. The led fixture itself is about 12"x12" and it has 60, 3 watt diodes. The plant that is directly under the led always does exceptionally well, as do any branches that stray into its light path. There's no co2 in my box, I just move lots of air thru it. The buds under the led are always the densest, and the plants don't stretch as much as normal or as much as the other plants in the box. These are observations I have made over multiple runs in this set-up with no changes.

I love my little led as I feel it is great complimentary light. I'm seriously considering buying a larger model so all the buds in the box are hard as rocks. I still love my hids in my big room.....don't get me wrong. I just tried an led to see what was up.....and I ended up loving it.....

I've always wanted to try a micro grow with led, seen some amazing results. I have a 96*3 right now, 1 plant, she loves it!
