LED problem...

Hi everyone
I have a MarsHydro ts600 in my seedlings tent. Today i was cleaning during the dark cycle but i've noticed the lamp slightly on. I have tried without the timer, using different outlets, but same. Could it be some blown up resistance? I attach a picture of the problem

Oops... I would definitely contact customer service over that one. (edit: Ca++ has better thoughts on that first. see below)

Do you have them silly plugs that can be turned 180 and still plug in?
If so, your timer is isn't being powered correctly. You need to turn it. As it is, you are switching the neutral, not the live.

If you are using a contactor, then it is the permanent input that needs turning.

A lot of Europe uses plugs and sockets with no suitable keyway, to stop plugging things in wrong.

Looks like that flipping the extention cord to the box fixed it. Strange isn't it? Probably the circuit rectifier is not properly built? I don't think it's faulty but just poorly made

You have 3 wires. Live Neutral and Earth.
Neutral and Earth are the same thing.
Your timer should switch the live, but plugged in the other way, it switches the Neutral.
If you switch the Neutral, the light still has Live and Earth. Which as said, Earth is Neutral.

With the Live still going to the light, it is finding it's way through. I would hazard a guess it's noise suppression parts that are letting through power

I'm happy it's fixed. With outputs that can be used either way around, the electrician tends to not care which way he wires them at the back. So if you move sockets, you may have to figure it out again.

It's a shoddy electrical system, that could easily be replaced over the course of time.
