How does one determine the amount of light required to for vegetative/flowering states?

I'm purchasing some LED lights from China and they don't seem to know!

There are a couple very reputable US companies who developed their panels for mj

I am very happy with the results of my first grow using a BML SPYDR 600.

Other options include Apache Tech, and A-51 who has really nice entry level pricing
