By the way everyone, Irish sends me the photos every week as he's uploading them to the web. I went ahead and did some side-by-side arrangements of the pictures he displayed for the day prior to the beginning of 6 weeks, as side-by-side tends to give you a clearer comparison of the plants under each light. Anyhow, here's they are for your enjoyment:

hey thats sweet! how did you do that? i want to start posting them like that. thanks!

I just copied and pasted in photoshop. Took about a minute per image. If you can't figure out how, I'd be more than happy to do it for ya ;)

ya i don't have the Photoshop on my computer. i like this way because i can see if i am taking the pics of each plant at the same angle. gets hard to tell when i am flicking threw all the pics trying to rember if they were equal or not. seeing the side by side i did pretty good keeping them the same.lol.

everyone is going to like these next weeks pics i added my bud enhancer this sat. and i could already see a diff last night and these take a full two weeks to finish adding weight to the buds. so we should see some good size incress next week for sure and a big diff in two weeks when this additive is done doing its thing. these last weeks of the grow cycle i am just going to work on adding bud size and denses to make them fill in more and get fatter.

Yes, I agree that you did a pretty darn good job at taking comparable pix with very similar angles. It makes for great side-by-side photos ;) Keep up the good work my friend, I know you have a TON of followers these days lol. Let me know when you want to test out the new 205W with the 3' x 3' footprint and our revised light engine. ;)

thanks i try to get the pics as fair as i can its not easy thats for sure because the two sets of plants are different size so its tuff to get the same angle. you already have that 205w made? before i get more lights from either company i want to see this grow threw the finish and on the scale to get dry weight from each plant.

i got this from a post from LEDGirl in another thread "They won't be going down any until our new line of lights is released with completely custom casings. The first model will be released in January, featuring a square design and an approximate 3' x 3' footprint, using 205W of LED power. It will also feature our revised light engine, and be priced at $649.95, which is about $3.15 per watt, compared to our 126W at $3.37 per watt ($424.95)."

So the final word on offset is - or is not - as originally suggested by LEDgirl? I know what you are saying botanist and I am following your thread with relish, but I also have seen a bunch of photos taken by LEDgirl of her grows that show lights in battery with a significant offset distance. If we were looking at a small offset then it might work for a cabinet grow where there are significant height restrictions and that would be superlative because it would be 100% self-contained without any outside ventilation issues and that would be a huge leap forward in the stealth department and people will be keenly interested in that information.

Irish if you start while the plants are still in veg with stem crushing then the branch strength is greatly increased. Crushing the stems gives the plant the same opportunity that a windstorm does, it creates a response for the plant to thicken up the stem and then stem "crashes" become a thing of the past. I crush stems continuously doing about 1/4 of the stems every three days once the plants are at around 4 or 5 inches and branching nicely...

No worries, you are getting there and everyone is super impressed. I know I am.

Ok, I'm interested. "Revised," as in, improved or enhanced? What's going on with that? Can we get a price quote, or is it too early?

Revised, meaning updated. Our previous light engine was comprised of 70% red, 20% white, 10% blue. Our new light engines contain 85% red, 10% blue, and 5% white. The design itself has stayed the same, however the amount and configuration of the LED's within the light engines are a bit different.

Is this light going to completely replace the 126w? If that is the case then then what is going to happened to the people the paid for the old school design?

It is an addition to our product line to compete head to head with lights like the 180W Jumbo from ProSource, or the 186W from Haight Solid State. Currently, you'd need two of our panels (126W + 63W) in order to compete more or less watt for watt, so we wanted a single panel that would "fill the gap" in our product line so to speak. It is not replacing the 126W.

to bad that wasn't out in the beginning of my test, could have used that new light to be a more equal watt for watt against my 180w. since their closer to the same watts. are the leds going to be closer together on these new units or still spaced apart?

I was under the impression the 126w could compete with the 180w. Not only compete but was better by a long run.

i was told it would beat it or at least do the same as the 180w. thats the whole reason for this test, to show how much better the 126w is compared to the 180w.
guess we will see once its on the scale what did what.
