you can use a towel for a wick,soak it get excess water off,put one end in 5 gallon bucket thats rased above plants,the other end buried a couple inches under the soil.if its a option. peace moon/
Yups, the one from moonymonkey works too, but I deliberatly did not want to mention thatone in your peticular situation.
Thing is, it's all about finding the right diameter of the substance you intend to siphon through.
A regular kitchen towel as it is will empty your whole bucket in less than a day, wich would be the equivalent of a torough watering (and more) just after you left.
(we use 4 regular kitchen towels in a 1 cubic meter medium as part of a permanent automatic watering system when plants are already grown. You would not want to have this much capacity in a 12 liter pot!)
