a buddy has chem dawg D , a hindu kush cross, and a purple kush cross and all seems normal but leafs grow non uniformally, its hot where my buddy resides could these mutations be due to heat shock or some thing he has fed them ? this is also a vertical grow but even girls in veg room are showing these same traits. I also vegged for some time outside could they be in shock from the cfls inside? ( that seems unlikely to me but some body may know something I dont) I have a nother theory maybe while they were outside they may have begun to flower and are in shock from reverting back into vegitative growth . But not all plants that show these mutations are from those three mothers so i reach ou for some advice and knowledge please.

leaf mutations? 3 leaf intead of five five instead of seven please help!

my white widow and OG have 3 leaves, my bubba kush has 7
depends how old the plant is, usually my clones throw differing finger number leaves than the mature plant.
I have an abusive OG that has 3 on a lot of them, 5 on some, 4 on others.... if its not obviously mutated and not just throwing a certain number of fingers, leave it be.

looking at old pics of my young white widow, its got five finger fan leaves... but now all of em are three finger or some are two fingers. wierd
i've been growing sweet tooth #4 from clone for about 7 yrs. in veg, after pruning fairly radically, some of the leaves come out 3 fingered. by the time they are flowered, all new growth is back to normal. it doesn't seem to detract from yield or be a problem in any way.

I got a white rhino with 1 leaf with an EVEN # of fingers. thats right, an EVEN # of blades. The bud is smelling more fire then the kush I have grown in the past, at week 3 only. and frosting up nicely.
The ol' pepper & tomatoe plants on the porch even deform themselves ( growing multiple branches from a single node, all sorts of wierd shit ) but seem to be healthy otherwise

not quite the input i was hopeing for but at least our girls are'nt the only weird looking ladies still rocking the fire. just seems stran'ge to me. what are your temps like. It summer round here and about 90 in there. i wonder about heat stress or maybe rootbound? but the yeilds are solid so ya whats a guy suposed to do ?
