Leaf Cutting

Hello Everyone

I have a question about cutting leafs. I LST my 4 plants 2 weeks ago and they have absolutly gone insane. 2 of the plants are more mature then the others and are now shadowing them too much for my liking. How can I properly go about cutting without doing damage to my sweet baby girls :D They still have a few weeks of Veg before i consider flowering all info and suggestions are welcomed.

Hey:wave:

I would not consider cutting any leafs at such an early time, the plant needs to be able to perform photosynthesis as you know:kos:

I only remove leaves if the are yellowed and dying (other than removing late in flower just before harvest) these are my ladies now.

:canabis:

As you are already training then I would consider more training before removal which could do more harm than good, but I am just a novice (first real grow) you could ask blazeoneup (very helpfull person) also steve green, eddieshoestring or alaskagrows all know what they are doing.

Hopefully this helps:smoker:

Good Luck with the grow:smoke:

I trim troublesome fan leaves all the time, especially if it opens up room for side branching. It is possible to cut them too much and growth with slow down for a few days, but if done right you should see its benefits.

another route to go is to put something under the shorter plants to make them even with the bigger ones

I have also cut some of the biggest fan leaves away cause they gave a nice shadow to the undergrowth and branches. And now its looking better than ever. But I guess its kinda situation oriented so pics or something would be nice.

can you try to just cut the leafes in half so that the shadow isnt covering too much like you cut each leaf down and photosynthysis can still take place. just a suggestion gl.
