Leaf + Brownie Mix = Good Result?

Guest

I have crystal coated trim. Just like all the smaller trimming, no full leafs. Can I just put the trim right into brownie mix or do I have to make oil or butter?

I'm not big on "work." So if I could just mix and bake, that'd be killer.

Nice... I think if you just grind it all up you'll get a healthier treat too...all those vitamins and minerals etc that wouldn't transfer to oil. Plus its easier! Way to go man... hope it works out and tastes good

Hi hon, yes just putting the pot in the batter will work just fine. Use that big wire strainer most folks have in the kitchen to sift the pot through to make it finely particled. You may want to add a bit more oil to the batter. I like to put "hemp nuts" (seeds with the shell removed) in there, along with some walnuts. Hemp seed is VERY good for you nutritionally. As long as a recipe has oil, butter or fat in it, the THC will get into you when you eat it. Vaped weed also can be used in brownies, but it takes more- but two highs off the same weed ain't bad! -Granny

I usually grind it up real fine and simmer it in melted butter for awhile. I substitute sticks of butter for vegetable oil in the recipe. If the recipe calls for one stick of butter, I use two becaused the green stuff soaks up much of the butter. I just pour the simmered green into the mix where it calls for adding oil.

I actually like the green in the mix - it's sort of like adding nuts.
