Currently Im on a break from partaking due to over active thyroid condition.

I was experiencing blackout, fatigue and high blood pressure. My doctor told me cannabis will not affect the thyroid gland unless it is used heavy and chronically for over 15 years.

Well it has been heavy and chronic for over 35 years for me. The Doctor prescribed couple of medications but I refuse to take pharma pills. Instead I started to exercise and modified my diet. After 90 plus days of lifestyle change I feel like a new man. I am more productive and have more energy.

I still love and believe cannabis is a wonderful plant but I will not go back to taking refuge in using it. Meaning indulging daily and heavily becoming my only purpose in life.

I have never went this long without indulging. I will go back to dance with MaryJane eventually but not like the way I was doing.

I have SourBubble(BOG) and Blueberry(DJ Short) right now. I look forward to partaking in another month and when I do it will only be 2 to 3 times a week.

hard rain

I had a 6 year break over a decade ago. I moved states and when I ran out of pot simply couldn't be bothered trying to find a new supplier. Couldn't grow my own where I lived. It was ridiculously easy to give up too. I had no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever.

PermaBuzz

Goin on a month here. Didnt exactly want to do it but yes it was getting boring and much more importantly, the smoke was bothering my sinuses in a rather big way - I wont go into the details.
I thought I was going to miss it and in a way I do but also I dont. My perspective has changed some and I am experiencing feelings, emotions, and a lot of crazy dreams that were absent before so that partially makes up for some of the stimulation that getting high was giving me before. A little suprised by that really. The plan is to go 6 months without <gulp> or at least until my sinus condition clears up if it even ever does. It is possible that I cannot smoke at all again if the condition doesnt clear up. Vapes dont help and edibles are not as satisfying - its not as clean of a buzz. Edibles definetely get you way higher though if you eat enough - way higher - but that also is a problem as its harder to get the dose right and then you are commited to a white knuckle ride. I wonder if tinctures might bridge that gap to be more like smoking but I kinda doubt it.

I stopped for about 15 years while in the USAF and for about 5 years after. So about 20 total. The wife didn't like that damn "Happy Smoke." But she passed. Party's on! Actually more like meds now than any party.

I been dry since about Apr-May. So now is longest in about 7 years. I do have a bunch of roaches and some vaped duff I could use, but I'm a spoiled connoisseur now. I want buds. I have a bunch of fan leaves too but I'm saving those to make a salve. My buds will finish in November I hope. Maybe December. Can't flip and start flower till it cools off some.

2 years 2011-2013... now i get SUPER paranoid if i take more than 2 hits off of anything...sucks!!! i thought i might build a tolerance up but i cant since i can only take one hit. I hardly ever smoke anymore because of this.. Positive side to this is i jog and am way more active than i was when i was smoking heavily everyday.

About 16 months or so. I had a State-sponsored vacation, but I managed to puff a couple times when I was down after I was comfortable that I wasn't going to be tested.

Cough stopped after 2 weeks & dreams were VERY VERY vivid.

Now i am slowly sampling each of my jars to re-discover the strains i have grown :woohoo:

I stop smoking only long enough to find jobs. well, plus while I was in USAF basic training...

Yup, basic training cannabis break for me too. No smoke for 8 weeks. Wait plus like 2 months before basic training I think. I know I passed the drug test. Did you have a drug test at MEPS or anything? I wish I had joined the Army, I'd still be in I bet. Happy early veterans day puff pass
