Landrace Sativa Smoke Report

I am sorry about the people that get pissed about smoke reports not done about available genetics. But for those that are interested just out of the sheer curiosity of seeing beautiful regional mexican sativa genetics in action, look no further.

Appearance: Buds are a lime green color, they are airy, yet have a high calyx ratio compared to most sativa pheno's I have seen. Especially of the heirloom variety.

Aroma: Upon first smell from freshly opened mason jar, the now 1 month cured buds have a very present overtone of fresh citrus. It is very pleasant indeed, I can't get over its fresh, exotic fragrance. The curing jars have a present undertone of something spicy and something earthy, but words cannot express this aroma.

Flavor: Upon inhalation their is a very present earthy, organic flavor with just a slight presence of citrus. Upon exhale flavor is very sweet and slightly spicy, it is unique and I have been very satisfied at the increase in flavor after the curing.

High: Upon taking a large, milking rip out of my molino bong...
a very powerful "up" high, that will soon leave you wondering how high you really are. I have smoked this particular bud during lunch time at work, and have come back with a little too big of a grin if you know what I mean. Definitely a creeper too, as I end up feeling higher twenty minutes later than what I started out feeling.

Looks bomb. How long did it flower for?

Thanks bro...
I counted just over 14 weeks of bud formation, so I would say 16-17 weeks total from switching to 12/12. Yea...
it takes lots of patience :)

Very nice buds and report for a pure Mexican. Where did the seeds come from?

I looked for the best female sativa phenos from the seeds which were from a lot of mexi commercial I had sometime back. The commercial wasn't all that bad aside from the compression, bad cure, stems, seeds, etc :p. But it is quite interesting to take a look at the genetics under enough TLC !

In Taoism, the basic, eternal principle of the universe that transcends reality and is the source of being, non-being, and change.

"Good heavens, the ammount of debates, battles, bloodshed, and torture over the question of whether God does or does not exist! It has seemed to be even more than a life and death issue. At all costs, the christian must convince the heathen and the atheist that God exists, in order to save his soul. At all costs, the atheist must convince the Christian that the belief in God is but a primitive superstition, doing enormous harm to the cause of true social progress. And so they battle, and storm, and bang away at each other. Meanwhile, the Taoist sage sits quietly by the stream, perhaps with a book of poems, a cup of wine, and some painting materials, enjoying the Tao to his hearts content, without ever worrying whether or not the tao exists. The sage has no need to affirm the Tao, he is far too busy enjoying it."

up in smoke ...

I still cant get over the type of dumbfounded daze this bud really puts on me, its crazy. There is also no ceiling to the high, as is typical with sativas, meaning I've ended up taking a few too many bong rips sometimes and gotten put in my place.

that really does look good. very high calyx-leaf ratio for a landrace sativa. I know exactly what you mean about the ceilingless, creeper high. I have a landrace sativa from India that I personally brought back home, and man, it just fills me with bliss. While I love the gorgeous pics you took, could you possibly take one of the bud at a longer distance? :)

That bud looks rather similar to the oaxacan pelo rojo Zamalito posted pics of, so it may be a pacific coast variety you have there, treasure it my friend, sounds like a top notch sativa and by the looks ofthe bud and your description of the flowering time and effect, it is pure and not hybridised.

Thanks for sharing, now how do I get me a cut of that? lol
