L.A Con looks like a champ for sure! Gotta add this one on my to grow list. Nice colors on it too. Yummy dense nugs, I bet they're killer.

I always thought bright magenta stems was a sign of Cal-Mag deficiency...shrug...maybe it's just strain dependent?

You won't be sorry if you run her, just give her plenty of veg time. I have one vegging right now that's been grow under ideal conditions and is still only 18" tall after 4 weeks in a keg cup, 5 weeks in a 1-gallonb pot & 2 weeks in a 3-gallon pot. If I vegged one of my hybrid plants that much she would need to be flowered in a 7+ gallon container, but LAC will do just fine in a 3-gallon after a veg routine like that.

Typically my cut is a bright lime green with deep orange hairs. This is the first time this color has come out.

This strain has a couple false alarms she gives off. One is the magenta stems looking purple. It's just the cut, not a sign of deficiency. The other is the wet hay smell during the first week of cure. It smells exactly like ganj that was put into glass too early, but it's just the strain.

yup, its just another way that a plant shows variegation
I had to look that word up!

No offense taken. I've had this cut since 2005, ran her for 3 years straight in SoCal & then sporadically since then, and this is the first time I've seen these colors.

I used to occasionally run into LAC at Green Angel of Malibu & Helping Hands Wellness Center in SB back when they were both still around and my bud looks, tastes & feels like that product did. The smell, taste, the unmistakable high. . . all identical.

The high of my LAC could be compared to SFV OG with that heavy but awake feeling. . . the rest of the plant is indeed more like bubba, yield & all. I wish my plant vegged like SFV OG.

No comments about the pics or the plants. . . these are old & I didn't know much about either one at the time. I can tell you that the plants came from the same mom. The last two pics show what the mature flowers looked like back when I grew with a horizontal fixture, didn't flush for 3 weeks, I pulled a week earlier & I didn't have night-time temps in the low to mid 60's.

I've never had the pleasure of growing Sour Bubble, but this plant has hardly any stretch and very close nodes. Sometimes the nodes stretch out if I keep her in cups too long, but larger plants only come with a ridiculous amount of vegging.

I have both of the phenos and I must say lac takes a very very long time to veg.

This plant has been vegged under ideal conditions and is still only 20" tall after 18 days of rooting, 5 weeks in a keg cup, 5 weeks in a 1-gallon & another 2-3 weeks in a 3 gallon with its own vertical T5 fixture. It will still get another 3 weeks around a HPS in its final pot. After all this, it will still only be as tall as my Casey's Dreams that were vegged 3 weeks in cups, 3 weeks in 1-galons & 3 weeks total around a HPS in 3-gallons.

This cut is a tortoise, but I've also found it's medicine to be unique & irreplaceable. I can't say I grow this cut for $$$ anymore, but I almost always have a couple of them in each grow for head stash & the resulting product isn't for sale.

That's some chunky LAC. I'll have to try getting rid of some of the lower bud sites. . .

Thanks homie I'm completing my first run now after receiving the clone last nov... It was a long slow vegg! Rootbound? Fuck that, LAC will turn into cabbage once she's rootbound.

My friend had her done in 50 days, I'm takin her 60... Grown vert 600w

Peace homie... I like your plant/pics much better than mine!

i think i will have to remove the lower sites as well next time
mine the buds dont get much bigger than a golf ball IME

another question about the structure also-
does yours produce "double branches" from each node?
mine has a branch where the normal ones come out,
right off the stems where the leaves attach.

but- if shes got plenty of light and is happy with her food,
she will throw a second branch from every stem that connects to a leaf...
makes it a PITA to try to defoliate, because there is a branch coming out of a leaf!

these pics are from 61 days-
