Swerves Purp Kush is bomb.
But doesn't seem as resin coated as the Kyle Kushman Purp Kush.
I'd have to try it in person though.
The garberville version gets frosty late in flower during the ripening phase.
The KK version looked frosty all the wqay threw in those pic's.
But thats pic's and I only grew swerves Purp Kush once so far.
Spo we'll see what this second run brings me.
Great rotton purple urkle Kush type smell off of the nugs.

There's only one Original Purple Kush and even myself and other growers of this KK PK will tell you this isn't it. Even though this is a fairly old/somewhat vintage clone, It's just a really badass represenation. I'm telling you like it is. Tons of other really bomb Kushes out there that are easily obtainable, this is just one of tha more "off tha market" cuttings. No biggie. What I'm all about is pre-Prop215 cuttings of tha highest order. Seems like after tha clubs and medical scene - dank ass Kushes got really watered down, hence all tha confusion these days. There was only one OG, one Bubba, one Purple and every now and then an Orange Crush/Kush type Kushplant back when I first started growing/collecting Kushes from out West. Now there's like ten of each, all with special nicks. Rediculous.
What I remember PK to be was a short, fat Indica-dom Kush strain that reeked of that rootten Kush purple smell. Super hard nugs that weren't always purp, but not green all-over, either.
What I remember OGK to be was a gangly, branchy, stretchy Kush plant that reeked of that straight-up olskool OGK smell lemon fuel Kush. Not dense, but not airy nugs either. Just perfect all-around nugs with an uplifing speedy Kush high at first, then mellowed into tha most gnarliest high ever of relaxing/heady qualities.
What I remember Bubba to be was an even shorter, stout, relatively branchy in flower Kushplant that looked so dark green it was nearly blue and yielded scores of typical golfball Kush nugs reeking of some kind'a dank aromatic coffee and Kush undertones with tha SMOOTHEST smoke outta' all tha Kushes.
What I remember Orange Kush to be was a, once again, short and stout relatively branchy Kushplant that was very dark green and yielded nugs similar-shape and size to real-deal OGK...you know, those speary/relatively light [NOT AIRY] nugs of holy Kush proportions and orange citrus undertones and flavors. Super expansion on tha original OK I remember back a whillllllle ago.
I hate all these miconceptions floatin' about these days. I wish I could knock some sense into some of these cats. Some just won't listen, however. They think tha Kush scene started in tha 90s.
I WANT that Emerald Triangle cut like something wicked...My boy N keeps tellin' me its tha bee's kneez...and one-and-only...

i'm really new at the kush thing and in no way want to come off like i know what a real kush looks/smells/taste like i have only smoke a couple kinds in my time, one thing is for sure i like the kushs ive smoked and i'm jacked to finaly be growing some out myself......

man memories memories gawd nandro why cant it be like that again.. ahh the pk we got was soo yummy shit the bubba i was getting was unreal for the longest of times i mean 14 gram kolas... what the fuck ahppened.. ahhh it kills me.. i rememebr about 6 or so years ago my connect was getting lb s of the fire og i mean really it would make people pass the fuck out after a bong rip.. we called it the ogk1 cause 1 bowl knocked you out. the grower got some heat put on him. i offer 2500 a cut to get just 1 clone from him cause th cops we bugging. he told me flat out he would rather kill 250 plants than sell one of them to anyone.. was like dammm . ahhhhh if i can only find that cut again. but since all the s1's and bastardized shit .. its gone like the old skool road kill.

The choco Deez is my favorite. Great Med weed! Some of the best I've found in years.

I, too, would be very pleased to grow another cut out [and find out that this cut matches another] and do a comparison - it's just a matter of smoking it and seeing if it meets tha requirements, etc. But for now, since my days of smoking olskool PK - tha ET/Humboldt PK is what I put all other supposed PKs up against. It's all personal preference, as we all know. Infact, my favorite strain to this day is a toss up between Catpiss and Pure Kush. mmmmm I like fuely, lung-expandos from hell.

oh man nandro you got the orange down. you know that pk that i love too, mmmmm that shit stinks like rotten kush puts the biggest stoners down for the count. the orange i knew to knock anyone out, was the most hardcore sleeper indica. i remember one guy we smoked one bowl he threw up like 5 times after, said he was so stoned it felt like a trian hit him or something. he told me he had tolerance too haha.
swerve the good ol days damn, there long gone. its so hard to find a good kush leaf these days. i remember that one bowl ogk. put many many people out in my eyes haha almost as much as the orange or pk. i wouldn't doubt that guy not selling shit, old kush lines were held close, now days i bet they wouldn't sell them for their lives.
