Hazeseeker,
get yourself a dehumidifier...You have a very green thumb and I would say you are an EXCELLENT grower!!Do not let something like a little mold ruin your day...This is one of the heartaches you have to learn how to combat and defeat!
Humidity is a killer for thick buds and I would know as I live in an extremely humid area and I'm always battling to keep it low..An ozone generator also works wonders altrhough you do not want to leave it in the grow for extended periods...I put mine in the flower room from time to time for an hour or so and clean the air and surfces as it kills everything including pollen, mold spores, mildew and all those cruddy little creatures...
A lot of people have problems rooting clones in the humidity and heat but the ozone fixes this problem as well and keep the dampening off and other nasties at bay that give fresh clonesa problems...

Keep up the grow friend!!

A big thank you also to Hazeseeker for posting this report and giving Swerve and myself a little light outside of our little forum!!
Take care and grow em' safe................................................CC

Thanks for the kind words guys, really appreciate it :ying: ,
i've still got some Uk Cheese to smoke so alls not lost thankfully,
i think the reason i got mold was for the last week of drying i had to move the buds to a different area that had the chopped plants, leaves from the grow lying on the ground in that area so i've got a feeling that was part of the reason some of the buds got mold at the end of the drying period,
it's not really because i lost alot of smoke for myself that i was gutted,
it's the fact i've let others down who i always gift alot of my harvest to (always give away 80%+ of my buds each harvest for free, no money involved at all),
every harvest i always gift buds to a couple of family members and other growers in general to spread the love,
makes me feel happy to share wheather it's buds, seeds, clones etc etc,
i explained to the guys why i couldn't gift them much this time due to the mold and they're fine about it, gave them some of the Uk Cheese to try to make up for the loss of this 1 and they're really happy,
there will be plenty of NL#5xHaze at Christmas time to make up for the loss of that harvest,
next Summer i'll be more prepared for the really hot, humid conditions we had this Summer, makes me appreciate growing in the cooler Months even more

peace :joint:

Heya bro I wanted to mention something else to you..
My buds usually dry in 5 to 7 days and are crispy by day 10...I live in an extremely humid area as well....What you can do is add a fan and a small heater to the room you are drying in and it will dry the water out of the air and let your flowers dry faster...
If I took as long as you do I would lose all the flavor and most of the bud to mold as well...I do realize that slow drying is the way to go but I think you need to speed your process somewhat...
Let me know if we can help ya in any way brotherman....
Take care......................................CC

i find a quick dry is good.....all i have to do is rehydrate it a little in the jars with moist toilet roll or some orange peel, this seems to get the green to turn, brown nicly....the slow cure begins in the jars for me
