Definitely enjoying the thread Krunch, what strain do you plan on running under them next?
Those pics were beyond big Alex, made it harder to see to me

These lights will be installed in my bigger 10X10 tent to finish off some Sunset Sherbert, after this tent is done. They will be replacing a DE to get rid of some heat in there....

Moving soon, so everything has to come down....

Hey, it's the briar patch gotta breakem in quick. So far they have done well :p Can't wait hear yield quality is certainly there.

The first flat screen TV I bought cost $1000 for a 40 inch. About three years later I moved into a new house and decided to buy another one. That $1000 TV was selling for $400 and I ended up buying a nicer TV that was 46 inches for $550. I'm only hesitating on LED because of the high upfront cost and hoping the prices will come down.

I want to switch to LED or something else more efficient than HPS . I'm still rocking SE 1000w HPS in adjust a wings. Thanks for the great thread Krunchbubble. I appreciate a look at this cool local company and their tech.

filter all post by Alex Lau because he posted the prices in this thread or their Starlite thread.

peace

Thanks i just did that search..

I guess it is in on of the pdf or pictures.

Just no where out in the open says it cost $2500.00 per light anyplace that i can easily see when searching his name and reviewing his 25 post..

Not that is matters Early adopters always get the wrong end of the stick as tech changes constantly and prices go down.

that TV reference is perfect. and once LED grow lighting go mainstream.. a few years later we will see prices fall to the their "normal" price.

Just need those early adopters to make it mainstream..

Edit:
whoops maybe it is in the starlight thread. but if prices are this much of a secret...

ill wait..

Lol, come one guys

These kats are new to the industry and just are very enthusiastic about their work...

Have to admit, they ARE pretty frosty....

What up Krunch, its Jon @ Starlite.

I tried to tell Alex that trichs under the leaves was normal ...This is his first time seeing an indoor hydro grow :biglaugh: Welcome to the great indoors, Alex!

Your results are looking good. Can't wait to see your THC % and dry weight. Lets get you into the office soon and talk about this 10x10. I'm sure we can figure out how to match your old yields.

Every grow with my 60$ hps

Heh he is new to the game givem a little break :p I am sure he could go into a lot of detail on lights that would make us look dumb. However, wait a few days until we go into the finer details of the differences between the trichs on top of the leaves and the ones on the bottom that are only there for protective reasons.

Get a PAR meter. Put enough lights in the tent to achieve 500 µmol m-2 s-1 12" from the floor edge to edge. You will get outstanding yields.

By the way I was reading up on par meters the other day and it seems the cheap 300$ or so ones available to us are wholly inaccurate when measuring LED's. Apparently they use special ones in labs. Most of the companies selling the par meters will state hps et cetera only.
